Very disappointing

The location is ok, you can walk to the main road where some restaurants are, taxis found the place.

The older woman at reception was incredibly rude and unhelpful my entire stay. I booked this hotel for the pool (something my daughter begged for), but it was closed both days we were there - with no notice given. The WiFi had major issues the entire stay, and during the 1.5 hours I stood at reception trying to sort it out, three others came with the same problems. The rooms were really run down, smelled of damp, and in both rooms the sheets had gross stains and mold around the bathroom. The phone in the rooms didn’t work so you had to walk all the way to reception, and they don’t even provide bottles of water. It was a very uncomfortable, unpleasant stay. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

Excellent staffs, clean room and grat location in Kuta

The staff were so welcoming that I never felt like I was staying in a foreign country; they truly made me feel at home. With the super clean rooms, an excellent pool, and such helpful service, our stay was wonderful. The handwritten thank-you note and fruit platter at the end were such touching gestures.

The bathroom space needs a bit renovation. Also, the road can have more signs.

A Comfortable and Practical Stay in Kuta

Pondok Sari Kuta proved to be a reliable and comfortable accommodation option during my stay in Bali, particularly well-suited for travelers arriving late or looking for a clean and straightforward place to rest. While it is not a luxury property, it offers several thoughtful conveniences that made the stay pleasantly stress-free. One of the most notable advantages of this hotel is the ease of late-night check-in. Even when arriving at a very late hour, the process was smooth and efficient, which was greatly appreciated after a long journey. Another thoughtful feature was the availability of water dispensers placed in the lobby and key areas, allowing guests to freely refill drinking water. This small but meaningful detail added both convenience and comfort to the stay. The guest room itself was clean, tidy, and well-organized, reflecting good housekeeping standards. While not particularly spacious, it felt comfortable and well maintained. In addition, the hotel features a small yet cozy swimming pool, which, despite its modest size, was nicely maintained and offered a relaxing spot to unwind.

There are, however, a few points worth noting. The hotel does not have an elevator or escalator, which can be inconvenient if your room is assigned on the second floor, especially when traveling with heavy luggage. Additionally, because the property is located within a narrow alley, access for larger vehicles is limited, which may make pick-ups or drop-offs slightly less convenient.

The staff is amazing! They are so nice and respectful. Room is perfect and the breakfast was also good! I stayed here for just a day so I haven’t used all the facilities en haven’t checked the area But great spot if you have another flight.

A delightful stay in a well appointed and efficient hotel with superb staff.

As a frequent traveler around Asia I found this hotel an absolute gem. From the check-in through to the last day I couldn’t fault anything . The garden & pool were excellent & well appointed with furniture, lounges etc. I also appreciated the idea of having to replenish the water by the guest rather than volumes of plastic disposable bottles . An excellent recycling sentiment. The room was also well appointed with newish furniture and clean bathroom. The garden area was beautiful and looked after assiduously by the attentive staff. Daily housekeeping was also efficient and reliable.

The vista from my room was a bit ordinary but hey! I can’t have everything. The area where the hotel is situated is a little unkempt & ordinary

Recommended peaceful and friendly budget hotel

I have stayed here many times and enjoy every time. It is not modern but well maintained, the pool is especially nice. Very safe and quiet location and excellent value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful and always make special effort for everyone.

Lovely little oasis

Wonderful! Beautiful little hotel, gorgeous pool area and huuuuge bed in the room. A quiet oasis. About half an hour waking to beach strip through nice local neighbourhood. Washing machine and free water, tea, coffee. Great Vale for money.

Great little find close to the airport!

We had a late night flight so paid for two rooms (overnight rate) to use for the afternoon. While it's nothing over the top and it's the basics, the staff were lovely, the air-con in the room was lovely, tidy, clean. Would happily stay again :)

Ticked all the boxes

It was ticked all the boxes. Clean, convenient location to the airport and an awesome part of Kuta. It accommodated our family very comfortably. The pool area was a great space to hang in and very friendly staff and lovely breakfast.

Comfortable, clean stay near the airport with good family rooms

Super convenient for a one night stay after arriving at the airport late. The staff were great and helped us carry our bags to our first floor room. We had a family room. It was perfect for us, very clean and with comfortable beds. Breakfast was ok (eggs, toast, hash brown and sausage). We didn’t go in the swimming pool but it looked clean and inviting.

While the location was easy to get to by taxi from the airport, it wasn’t close to the centre of Kuta or anything really. We walked down the road to find an ATM and a coffee shop but there wasn’t much nearby apart from a busy road.

Perfect place to land after a long flight. 10 minutes drive from the airport. Great value. The kids loved the pool. Friendly and helpful staff. The driver they had arranged was very friendly. The breakfast was simple but delicious. Made for a very smooth start to our holiday.

Nice hotel for the money

Very nice hotel for the money and well kept. Rooms are clean and in good condition. Staff was friendly and attentive. Great value for the price.

Shower wasn’t hot enough a few days but they came to adjust it and it worked better. Also they had to come adjust the AC because it wasn’t that cold one of the days we stayed there. Location is a bit far from the beach with traffic.

The price.

Our door couldn’t open properly and the room was right next to the reception and we could hear everything that was going on. There was also a weird ambient noise (not a nice one) coming from something else than the aircon.

Good for a short stay, would love to come back

A hotel off the beaten path, in a relatively peaceful and quiet area, yet relatively close to the airport. Offers basic services and comfort. The room is pleasant, offers a good amount of space, efficient air conditioning and a comfortable bed and bathroom. The hotel has a very nice swimming pool and garden.

Aircon was strong and powerful. Very near airport.

The bathroom was damp and smelled damp. As the night falls, numerous mosquitoes start to pop out from the bathroom. Some of the towels smelled strange. Sofa bed mattress very thin and flimsy.

An OK STAY near the airport

My first two nights I stayed at the downstairs room, it was really good and clean. Close to the airport.

The third night, my family arrived, and we moved to the family room in level 3. No lift, but the staff was nice enough to help with bags, but the room wasn't as good as the one downstairs. Sewer smell from bathroom,, hard to navigate the shower, and the bed had extra wood at the bottom that we kept kicking as it's on the way. We were given 2 towels for 4 people, so we have to ask for another 2.

Tha place was very nice a little away from the centre , but short ride by taxi or scooter! Stuff was helpful and friendly ! Wifi sometimes was off .. hot showers is the bonus!
