A slice of tropical paradise

The staff at Lalasa are so lovely! Our villa was really comfortable and private, but we still had the perks of being in a hotel type setting with great service at our fingertips, daily housekeeping and an onsite restaurant. It was in a great location too, the street itself was nice and quiet but you’re only around the corner from shops, cafes and bars or a fun little scooter ride into the batu bolong area. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

The living/dining area isn’t air conditioned so you had to be in your bedroom if you wanted to fully escape the heat and mosquitoes, but the open environment straight onto the pool is beautiful and feels luxurious.

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay!

The pools — both in our private villa and the large communal pool — were the absolute highlight for our family. The communal pool and garden area by the restaurant became our favourite spot to relax and cool off each afternoon. The staff were exceptional: consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. Housekeeping and room service were fantastic and responded promptly to every request. The villa itself was exceptionally clean and very well proportioned, with generous indoor and outdoor spaces that made it easy to unwind. Lalasa Villas is in an excellent location — within easy walking distance of cafes, restaurants, spas, and workout studios, with a quick Grab ride to anywhere else in Canggu. I would highly recommend Lalasa Villas to anyone travelling to Canggu, especially families.

We could not change the speed of the fan in the living area and as it was set to a slow speed, the living area got quite hot during the day as it is open air. The decor in the Villas is a bit dated but they are very well maintained and exceptionally clean. We were very comfortable the entire stay. It would be good to have a few additional mosquito coils provided for using in the living area at night.

Would definitely go again

The place exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, cozy, romantic and beautiful. After a little adjustment, the partially outdoor bathroom in particular was a positive thing because of its difference. The two washbasins in the bathroom were also a nice plus. It was also wonderful to relax in the bathtub. The swimming pool was a suitable size and it was wonderful to take a dip in it right from the morning. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable and you could also put a mosquito curtain around the bed if needed. The shower had good pressure and in addition to the rain shower, there was also a hand shower and tap, which made washing much easier. The service at the reception and restaurant was excellent and, as is typical of Balinese culture, very friendly. We did not use the spa services this time. All the common areas of the villa, the restaurant, the pool area, etc. were clean, lush and beautiful. All the villas seemed to be full, but the area was very quiet all the time, so you had your privacy. The restaurant services seemed to be used sadly little, except for breakfast. Breakfast is partly buffet style and you can choose your main course from a menu. The buffet is limited: breads, something sweet, fruit, changing vegetables, juice, coffee. However, it works perfectly together with the main course, which alone would make a tasty breakfast. We only had dinner and lunch at the restaurant once, so I don't have much experience with the food. Both were okay and work well if you don't feel like going out into the city, but the price-quality ratio is not the best. The cocktails were also drinkable, but you can get better ones in town. There are many services right next to the accommodation: minimarket, gym, café, restaurant, spa, but you can also walk to a livelier area in a few minutes. Of course, Canggu, like many other tourist destinations in Bali, is not a particularly walk-friendly place, but short distances can be covered on foot.

The air conditioning in our villa was quite noisy, so earplugs were essential for a good night's sleep. In the evenings and especially on weekends, there is also a short fireworks display from the beach, which did not bother us. However, the villa is very soundproofed, so when the doors are closed, you can hardly hear any noise from the outside, except rain and storms. The villa's outdoor area would have needed some chairs so that it would have been easier to hang out. The planking was a bit old, and I didn't feel like sitting on it. The sunbed was also a bit impractical for sitting. Actually, the only place where it was nice to be outside was in the pool. Fortunately, there was always room in the shared pool area, and it was a more comfortable place to hang out and sunbathe. The room could also have had hooks or a coat rack where you could easily hang things without having to put them in the closet. There could also have been more drying space for towels and swimwear - there can never be too much of it :) Be aware that there are small lizards and crabs living in the shower rooms. Spiders and other small insects may also visit, but there were hardly any mosquitoes thanks to the daily poisoning. I personally hate all kinds of insects, but I still managed well :) If you need privacy to use the bathroom, it's worth checking if they have a more private villa available. In our villa, there was glass and a door between the bedroom and the bathroom/toilet, but you can only close them with a partial curtain. This wasn't a problem for us though.

Fabulous, we can’t wait to return

Gold class experience- we wanted for nothing and the villas and surrounds were just as photos. Stayed for 6nights and very single one of family loved it ( 2 x adult children and their parents) Staff went above and beyond- even knew our names and personally greeted us each day

Absolutely amazing sanctuary - we were so pleased and relaxed!

Absolutely wonderful staff that make the place amazing. Mid-stay, we upgraded at no cost from a one bedroom to a villa. We loved every minute of it. The breakfast choices were fantastic. The new Japanese restaurant out the front was high class. I feel so safe and secure here. The only way to enter the resort was through a glass reception area which is manned 24/7. Anything we wanted, we obtained via WhatsApp and it was in my room. We will now return later this year with our kids, planning to book to villas that can be joined through a wooden gate between the two. The pools are divine and so private.

The original room we had did occasionally have spotty wifi. But nothing else at all.

Great stay

Truly enjoyed our stay at Lalasa Villa in Canggu. It was sparkling clean and well maintained. The location was so convenient. Breakfast was delicious. And most importantly the staffs were excellent and friendly.

Breakfast menu is limited and had to pay extra for coffees. We had problem with toilet flush and hot water but we were given another villa upon request.

Bali Anniversary

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. The room was very spacious and exceptionally clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout our first visit to Bali. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. Breakfast offered a good variety of options each morning, and the entire property was beautifully maintained— the grounds were absolutely immaculate. Highly recommended!

Coffee size was too small, some breakfast food sizes quite small. We stayed in an open plan bathroom which was no privacy. My best friend and I should have stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. The aircon was not working consistently everyday as it would turn off. Otherwise, everything else was amazing! 😊

Amazing stay!

Fantastic stay!! We had the most amazing time at lalasa villas, the location and villa was just perfect. The staff are amazing, especially Diah she went above and beyond for us during our stay! She was so lovely! We also did the cooking class through the hotel which was so much fun! The chef’s taught us how to make balinese food and it was so nice. Hope to return next year, we enjoyed it so much!

We had an amazing stay at Lalasa Villas! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the excellent service, the friendliness of the staff, and the luxurious villa facilities. The location is fantastic – only a 5-minute walk to the beach, with many restaurants and shops nearby, yet the villa itself is quiet and private. The shared pool is perfect for relaxing with cocktails, and in the evening we enjoyed a great massage. Breakfast was either buffet or à la carte, and the barista coffee (for a small extra fee) was outstanding. Overall highlights: luxury, location, great value for money, and exceptional service.

One small suggestion would be to expand the vegetarian options, perhaps with more tofu dishes. Important to mention: in September 2025 there was a construction site next to our villa, which caused some noise, but it didn’t prevent us from having a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Relaxing Stay at Lalasa Villas Canggu

We had a lovely stay at Lalasa Villas Canggu. The villas and grounds were beautiful—well-maintained and peaceful, tucked away from the busyness and traffic of Canggu. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants, making it easy to explore the area without needing transport. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was decent, but we enjoyed the evening meals and cocktails. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we’d happily return.

Was great for the family - comfortable and good location.

Lovely infinity pool; gorgeous landscaping and well kept gardens Staff were very responsive, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good Villa was spacious and very comfy. Big bathroom. Excellent location - lots of restaurants, cafes, shopping and mini markets that were walking distance. Also a free shuttle bus to and from Fins Day club/beach, a few metres away, which was great.

Bed was comfortable but Pillows were all too bulky and hard for me. Maybe have a variety of pillows for different guests. The room we were in was a bit noisy during the day as there was construction going on next door. However - we were out most days so didn't bother us too much. We just hung out at the main pool during the day.
