Ansgar is a hidden Gem. I always stay here and prefer it to the more modern hotels. Staff are amazing. I forgot my travel adapter and they gave me one to use.
Rooms are basic, its expected at this price point. I woke up in the morning pretty cold. Bathroom is not the biggest but it is clean. there is a bit of hiking if your in the old section of the hotel

The the room was comfortable the breakfast was great and a glass of wine in the evening was lovely
It was not possible to regulate the heat in the room we opened the windows but we were located at the front. The noise from outside was constant with people returning home from a night out until 4am then the street cleaning started. On the second night two fireworks were set out in the street at 1030 it was loud it shook our room š„. I personally got very little sleep for 2 nights.
