Guesthouse Sakuya

It was secluded and peaceful. Just what I seek during this time stays and I high and low finding a room with Fujisan view. And this is a dream come true. I chose the traditional room with futons and tatami floor. It was so nice and cozy.

Not something I don't like but just a heads up. There is no housekeeping service. But if you want to change towels..you have to put the towels outside, they provide a small basket. They have house rules which some might feel too much, but I already prepared myself so it is not an issue. I heard their breakfast is nice and delicious but i didn't try myself as i have diet restriction. You need to have your own transport, this is crucial because the stay is quite far from main road.

Es la tercera vez que me hospedo, nunca me han decepcionado. Avisa con anticipación si deseas la cena o el desayuno. Si está despejado podrás ver el monte Fuji desde la ventana de tu habitación y en la foto el monte parecerá un cuadro muy lindo. En el comedor tendrás al monte Fuji de fondo en tu foto.

The Onsen setup with private family booking and awesome view were great. View of Mount Fuji from the bedroom window was terrific as we got to see the whole snow capped mountain and room size was good. Plenty of parking and explanation of protocohls in the ryokan and onsen.

The place is dated. The duvets were looking a bit tatty. Not much room around the bath and shower. Recommend a car as it as out of town
