    Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Ibis Styles Sapporo, although our experience was mixed due to inconsistent customer service. Unfortunately, our first impression was disappointing. The male front desk staff member did not greet us properly or explain the check-in procedure, which felt unfriendly and did not reflect the level of hospitality we expected. First impressions are important, especially in the hotel industry. The room itself was spacious and comfortable for our family, and the amenities were good. We did find a bug in the bathroom, which was disappointing, but aside from that, we were comfortable throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the breakfast. The staff were warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed the selection of local dishes, especially the meat options and fresh milk. Our check-out experience completely changed our impression of the front desk. The female staff member was excellent—friendly, professional, and very helpful in explaining everything, including the luggage storage service. However, when we returned later to collect our luggage, we were again assisted by the same male staff member from check-in, and unfortunately his attitude was once again unwelcoming. I hope he can improve his greeting and communication with guests, as basic hospitality is an essential part of the hotel experience. Finally, we used the transportation service arranged by the hotel, and it was excellent. The driver was professional, safe, and courteous. Overall, the hotel offers spacious rooms, a good breakfast, and several excellent staff members. I would recommend it, particularly for families, but I hope the front desk service becomes more consistent so every guest receives the same warm welcome.
