Decent Stay with Spacious Rooms

The room was quite big and spacious, which made the stay comfortable. Overall the stay was okay.

Extremely disappointing

The room was clean. We have stayed previously on two occasions at this hotel over a few years and enjoyed our stay. However, several factors on this occasion were extremely disappointing.

Hotel generally very ‘worn’ now and in need of a full overhaul. Think it has changed ownership since our last stay? Manager was unhelpful and quite rude, possibly due to language difficulties initially. Later in the day he was more polite, giving him the benefit of the doubt here but probably when I mentioned our disappointment about the pool area to reception. We stayed only one night on this occasion to break our journey, hoping to enjoy a relaxing day at the pool before continuing our journey home. Biggest disappointment was finding the whole poolside area undergoing major construction works, although water still in the pool itself, there were 17, yes 17 construction workers in the poolside area drilling, hammering etc. 3 sun beds laid out in amongst this mayhem. Needless to say we were the only two people who walked out poolside. Not for long though. At no time were we informed of this situation, even at check in when we said we were looking forward to relaxing by the pool! No apology was given by management who was in reception at the time. Extremely disappointing.

Mid Range older hotel with many problems but with a jewel of a fitness centre & pool and sauna.

the pool was heated and great. even some 5 star hotels do not have heated pools. the fitness center was wonderful. The sauna was good but should be hotter than 93C. I wish the hours for the pool was longer than 9am to 9pm. Same for the sauna hours.

many things were damaged in the room. the phone in the bathroom was not connected to the main unit and when i tried to fix it could not be. the small round mirror in the bathroom was missing a nut and if touched fell apart. It was really suprising your staff never noticed this. The floor had stains and the cleaning staff did the minimum. The shower floods the floor and it doesnt drain as the drain is not lower than the bathroom floor. The biggest problem is that i have no invoice. The checkout desk staff said booking.com would email it but that is not correct as i have no invoice.

The room size was very good. The hotel staff's attitude and cooperation were excellent. The staff's attitude made us feel at home.

The room was not cleaned carefully, for example, the glass under the table was very dirty, the base of the desk in the room was very dirty.

Nice pool and gym. Very convenient parking garage with elevator access.

Very old TV and uncomfortable toilet seats. Bathroom equipment generally pretty old and shower window leaking. Small, simple coffee from machine 20 AED.

It seems the alarm clock wasn’t reset, and the alarm set by a previous guest woke me up. I couldn’t find parking space on one night. Of 4 nights I stayed there.

Only it’s location that near my work

The room was not clean, and the bed had a very bad smell. Contact was made with reception, but there was no response until the fifth call. On the second day, the room was not cleaned, and the beddings were not replaced despite complaints about the bad smell in the bedding.
