Riad Le Jardin de Léa

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Le Jardin de Léa and would happily recommend it. The riad is charming, the atmosphere is relaxing and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We especially appreciated that they are cat lovers. There are many stray cats in the area, and the staff were even happy to let us leave some food for them. If you visit, we encourage you to buy some cat food from BIM or one of the nearby shops in the newer part of town and help care for these cats-they really need it. The breakfast was traditional and very tasty. It was on the sweeter side, which may not suit everyone, but we enjoyed the quality and authenticity of the food.

One piece of advice for future guests: confirm the airport transfer details in advance and ask for clear information about the pickup. We experienced some difficulty finding our driver upon arrival and the phone number provided was not working, which made the process more stressful than expected. Overall, despite this small issue, we had a great experience and would gladly stay here again.

My stay at Riad Le Jardin in Marrakech was genuinely one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every member of staff made us feel incredibly welcome, valued, and at home. The riad itself is absolutely beautiful, offering a peaceful and authentic Moroccan atmosphere right in the heart of the bustling Medina. Every corner of the property is stunning, clean, and thoughtfully maintained, creating the perfect place to relax after exploring Marrakech. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the outstanding hospitality provided by the staff. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our visit exceeded expectations. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and every request was met with a smile and a genuine willingness to help. I would especially like to thank Younus and Walid, who were absolutely fantastic throughout our stay. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail were second to none. They took the time to get to know us, always greeted us warmly, and were constantly checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Whether it was providing recommendations, helping arrange activities, assisting with directions, or simply taking the time to have a friendly conversation, they made a huge difference to our overall experience. Younus was incredibly attentive and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect. His local knowledge was invaluable, and his friendly nature immediately made us feel comfortable. Walid was equally amazing, consistently demonstrating exceptional customer service and a genuine passion for making guests feel welcome. Both of them represent the very best of Moroccan hospitality and are a credit to the riad. What impressed me most was how personalised the service felt. We never felt like just another room number or another guest passing through.

All staff was great. Always very helpful and available to assist. Calm and peaceful environment, perfect for relaxing. 2 minutes walking and we are in the Souks area.. Very safe walking from the Riad to Souks. For our first time in Marrakech, it was a good experience. Like I said before, everyone from the staff was great, but I have to give a special thanks to Waliid. He was really helpful and give us a lot of tips to our next trip to Morroco. Friendly staff and nice breakfast, lovely setting

Shame about the plastic over the roof, it should have been open air.. the details said there was a pool, but there wasn't, we found something that might have been on the roof, empty, covered in a tarp with rainwater in it, I also don't know why these Riads say 'and spa' there is no spa, just an empty thing with a tap that might have been a communal bath at some point, another Riad had the same we stayed in, also empty, but that was a quarter of the price with free tea.. it was also really hard to find and down a dark alley, and then down another really dark alley, I wouldn't have felt safe on my own walking around trying to find it in the dark. It's quite a walk out of the main Souk/square and taxi's drop off about 5 mins away and then you have to try and navigate to it - Apple maps showed it in a completely different area a 9 minute walk away. Google maps was better - we came across it only by asking someone and retracing our steps..
