Lovely location in the old town of Castelo Rodrigo. Loved waliking around the town after dark with no tourists. The ruins were beautifully lit and make sure you see the sunset. The rooms were wondetfully spacious and had beautiful views! We just missed expresdo coffee, but admitedly we are coffee snobs! Breakfast was lovely. Wished we could stay longer.

The location was exceptional, a medieval village that transports you centuries in the past. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The complimentary breakfast was great and we also ordered dinners, every night a special meal prepared to our preferences. The owner Ana is also a very experienced guide and took us to visit the Coa Valley archeological reserve,
