Riad-Boutique Borj Dhab Fez

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great location and a very authentic, beautifully decorated Riad. Lovely daily breakfast included too

Being in the Medina, our online maps didn’t always work well enough to navigate us back. That got a bit tricky after long days of exploring Fez, but not an impossible problem to overcome! Part of the Fez adventure!!

This Riad has very friendly staff who are able to speak multiple languages. They contacted me to make sure someone was able to meet us at our drop off point to escort us to the Riad. Nour and Salah are wonderful people and they offered us advice during our stay on where to go, what to be cautious of, and explained notable attractions on a map of the Medina. This riad is a 2 min walk to an eastern entrance of the Medina which is nice because we didn’t want to stay inside of it. We enjoyed our suite (The Ambar) because it was very spacious and tidy. Breakfast was very good, it had an assortment of baked goods with jams, honey, butter and cream cheese, a nice omelette, plus a large pot of mint tea. They also arranged for us to have breakfast in a private area on the first floor so that was a nice touch.

The riad has a beautiful atmosphere and authentic Moroccan charm. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for exploring Fez. The room was comfortable and the overall stay felt relaxing.

It’s close to the plac recif which is close to a market. Easy to find. Spacious room.

Very little atmosphere. We got lost on the way back a couple of time. Host didn’t really give us a good sense of where we are or how to get around, or show us a map to the souk etc. also they recommended us a restaurant on the first night where we had an absolutely terrible experience. The bathroom shower needed work.
