    Took Heathrow Express to Paddington then short walk to Pilgrm. Micky helpful at reception. Upgraded to bigger room. Porter Sammy helpful in moving bags. Adequate breakfast. Great base to walk around London.

    The location is exceptional, just a two minute walk to Paddington station. The room was bigger than anticipated and I had plenty of space as a solo traveller with a big suitcase. The bed was comfy and the fan was appreciated as there is no air con. A super easy and comfy short stay.

    On paper, this a hidden gem in Paddington, in reality the rooms are so small they are difficult to move in. With luggage getting to the top floor is laborious. The noise levels are bad - even with the packs of ear plugs provided. And the smell. Its a heady mix of sewage and fats from the restaurants on the street below, and cheesy feet. I wanted to love it, but sadly it wasn't a great experience.
