If visiting Ubud I would definitely recommend staying here. A little paradise away from busy streets. They also include

The private pool was far too deep for me, I think the pool depth varies depending on which villa you have, so maybe something to check first. If you have mobility issues, then please be aware that there are a lot of steep steps so this resort may not be suitable. However it is the steep location that provides the amazing jungle views.

The perfect honeymoon spot in Ubud!

This property is exceptional in every way. The amenities like free breakfast and afternoon tea, the shuttle into town daily, the little treats we found around like fresh fruit in the room and cookies bedside. Comfortable bed, lots of space in the Romantic Honeymoon Villa to sit around. We had a massage at the spa and also in the room- both great quality and relaxing. The pool was warm and big enough for two, and last but not least- the view was spectacular. It looked like a painting. The staff were so helpful and kind- every day we met new staff as they delivered our breakfast and turned down our room, they were all so kind and helpful. We loved the quiet days at the villa just lounging around and the busy days out and about. Bidadari made our honeymoon once in a lifetime- we will remember it forever.

The only thing I might add is that we would have loved some shade on half of the pool to protect from the sun- but this is personal preference and not a big deal at all. Lots of stairs but worth it if you are comfortable with that- maybe some added handrails at the entrance to the villa after the first door would be a good addition.

The gardens and view across the valley was awesome! The staff were absolutely amazing, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble! The Manager was on site to greet us when we arrived and also was there when we were leaving. He wanted to make sure our stay was excellent and if they could approve on anything as well.

Beautiful outlook and stunning villa

Absolutely stunning villa. The bedroom & bathroom were upstairs with a large balcony. Downstairs is the open living area, kitchen, pool & deck. The views of the jungle from all areas are incredible. The room had a comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast is served in your room at your time of choice, along with afternoon tea and a return trip into town. Friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.

There were building works next door and the room had reduced privacy as the workers could see you if you swam to the edge of the pool. Unfortunately, it was noisy and not peaceful until the building works stopped early evening. That's not Bidadari's fault, but they could have advised me before our stay or even offered us a different room. This villa is a little out of town, but certainly worth it. There are a lot of stairs, so this could be hard for some on your knees

Beautiful villa's in a jungle setting.

We loved everything about this villa. The villas are beautiful, spacious, clean, and full of character. The jungle setting is amazing and so relaxing to amongst. The staff were very friendly, polite and happy. The food was amazing, delivered to your villa as they don't have a dine in restaurant, though there are plenty of dine in restaurants in Ubud, & cozy local eateries a short grab ride away. The meals were generous. The private pool was clean and cool. This property is around a 15min drive North of Ubud, which makes very peaceful & quiet in a picturesque jungle setting. The price is great value.

Not alot to report here. Some people may find it a little bit far from town, but we did not. Not accessible for wheelchairs given the steep terrain and many stairs that lead to the villa's. Really struggling to find anything negative about these villa's.

The breakfasts were exceptional. Hot, fresh, tasty and plentiful. The place was spectacular, the best stay we have ever had anywhere, by far. Exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend.

The only comment to make was the location due to it's distance to town but the free daily shuttle certainly made us overlook this one minor detail. The spa staff could be more attentive and hospitable.

Ubud countryside oasis

Super attentive and professional staff from the porters, in room waiters, in room chef and reception staff. We stayed for two nights and regretted not staying any longer. Any requests are met with a smile and polished service. Very uniquely designed villas with thoughtful and traditional decor. Great turndown service. Option of a free return taxi transfer at a time of your choice was a nice service.

Wish the doors closed a bit more tightly. As we were in the jungle area we were worried about creatures getting into the bedroom.

Really great place. Breakfast was richer than other places, room service food was delicious and still reasonable pricing.

If I really have to find something maybe the location is a bit far away but don’t let it stop you. Places around Ubud you want to visit, you need a car anyways and for the center of the Ubud they provide shuttle service. Maybe they could also offer slightly warmer pool - but other than that every small detail they thought of.

Authentic and luxurious

This boutique hotel is absolutely breathtaking! The villas are incredibly spacious and luxurious. I especially liked the different nooks and separate areas (lounging area, private pool, dining area, kitchen...) that made the villa feel like a full-size house. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was incredibly courteous.

The whole experience was excellent especially the floating breakfast, afternoon tea and shuttle service to and from ubud!

The butler would ring the bell multiple times in a row instead of listening to us if we were saying coming and waiting for us. Also it was a bit annoying when we were trying to get ready and they would keep ringing the bell instead of leaving us in peace (this happened on the last day of our stay). Other than that they were excellent!!

Overpriced

The villa is located right in the middle of the rain forest which was a gorgeous view. The service was good and the staff were friendly however our honeymoon villa had a bad damp smell and the sheets and our clothes felt very damp after 2 days. The bed is not comfortable and needs to be updated. It creeks every time you move.

We had the most incredible stay at Bidadari Private Villas & Retreat. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail and level of service were exceptional. The staff were warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. As someone with strict gluten-free needs, I was amazed by how thoughtfully and fully they catered for me—it made the experience even more enjoyable. Our villa was stunning, with a private infinity pool overlooking the lush jungle—a peaceful oasis away from the busier parts of Bali. It was so relaxing, serene, and truly felt like a piece of paradise. Bidadari exceeded all expectations, and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

One to remember forever. The staff service and facilities were amazing

Breakfasts were amazing and individually selected by each guest from a varied menu. The food was exceptional and any additional requests because of dietary requirements were received with great understanding by the hosts. In fact any requests by us were accommodated quickly. The free shuttles from the accommodation to Ubud central were a great bonus which we enjoyed everyday.

The best hotel im Ubud area hands down. It’s obviously a 5 star hotel from the quality of the rooms, the food and most of all the staff. A truly magical stay that we will treasure.

Bidadari was an absolutely wonderful stay - the location was breathtaking and the villa very well maintained, but the service we received was impeccable. No question or request was a bother, and everyone was so happy to see us and helpful. It was busy while we were there and I believe all other rooms were full, but we felt totally private and always like we were a priority for the staff. It was a truly magical stay that I cannot recommend enough.

Bidadari is a great way to experience ubud's gifts

We had a wonderful stay at Bidadari villas! From the beginning to the end of our stay at the private presidential villa, we had a truly memorable experience. The breathtaking view into the tropical forest that surrounds the property, made you feel one with nature. Furthermore, beyond just the property, the exceptional and heartwarming staff members, not only ensured the villa was well-maintained but meant that us as guests had an unforgettable stay. All services from dining to spa treatments were top class.

Perhaps the comfort of the mattresses was the only minor complaint.

Beautiful and tranquil resort in Ubud!

The resort is a tranquil haven away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud! The resort shuttle was easy to use to go back and forth to Ubud. We loved the breakfast every morning with a variety of options. We especially lovved the fresh squeezed juices and excellent lattes! The spa was fabulous and we arrange to go twice during our stay. The location is perfect, with the sound of the river flowing in the background. The hotel staff were great and responsive to our endless questions. My husband was thrilled that they arranged to do his laundry! There are many steps at the resort due its lovely location but that just adds its beauty and charm. We stayed in the Grand Magnificent 2 BR Villa, which had 3 levels, with the master BR on the ground floor with private entrance. We had the private barbecue for our group of 4 and it did not disapppoint. Dinner ordered from the menu was delicious and it was nice not having to back into Ubud to have an evening meal. We could just relax, take a swim and have a nice dinner. The resort is close to the Monkey Forest, and the beautiful rice terraces on the way to Penglipuram Village and Tirta Empul.

We had a great driver who was able to find the resort. Had we been on our own in a scooter or rental car, I'm not sure how easily we would have found the resort. The sign out front could be improved to stand out more. Our daughter and her friend was not fans of the outdoor toilet on the middle floor BR. We would suggest for this to have a greater privacy wall.
