Nissia Beach Apartments & Suites

The complex is in an excellent location and has all the facilities you could need. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had an early flight, and they arranged for our room to be ready quickly. On our way home, they also called a taxi for us and prepared a takeaway breakfast, which was such a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated. The pools are lovely and perfect for a refreshing swim. The beach is right across the pedestrian street, and there are plenty of restaurants and sunbeds nearby. The sunbeds are free when you have something to eat or drink at the restaurant, which was very convenient. We also enjoyed the breakfast. You choose what you would like to eat the day before, and it is served on your private room terrace, which makes for a very pleasant and relaxing start to the day. The variety was quite sufficient for a week-long stay. We had a triple room, which was big, however the bathroom is quite small.

Kamari is quite close to the airport, so if you are a light sleeper, you may notice some aircraft noise. Also, as Santorini is a volcanic island, the beaches have black sand and small rocks rather than soft sand. Neither was a problem for us, but it is worth knowing in advance.

Facilities are from previous age, old noisy air conditioning unit just outside window. Swimming pool requires deep cleaning. Main issue is safety at this hotel, everyone can enter premises with ease. Gypsy kids entering premises and taking stuff, if you don’t want your stuff taken you need to be aware of this

Everything was just perfect, nice Pool Area, few steps to the Beach. Promenade of Kamari is great, with many good restaurants and beach bars. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good Breakfast selection served to Room.

Incoming Flights during Night or early morning were sometimes a bit loud and took some getting used to. As we had the Apartment in front of Pool and next to kitchen cleaning and preparation of Area in the morning was hearable. But this complaint is actually not worth mentioning.
