Lovely Nile view from our room. Bedrooms are nice and well stocked. Check in and concierge staff were excellent. Breakfast buffet was brilliant with such a variety of food and the staff were exceptional. Chocolate cafe was wonderful and luggage was held for the day of our check out as we were flying out late.
Lovely touches like a unique pillow menu but when we phoned for the pillows the staff didn’t understand what the options were and simply bought a soft, medium and firm one. My daughters were really excited about trying a scented/warm pillow and a leg pillow for myself but unfortunately no one seemed to understand what we needed. Staff training was evident in all other areas of the hotel (particularly front of house) apart from this.
Gym was excellent with a lovely Nile view. Spa facilities were good (you need to book a slot for jacuzzi/steam/sauna but a little underwhelming.
No fault of the hotel as I didn’t check this but worth noting there isn’t direct access across from the hotel to stroll along the Nile like some other hotels.

The breakfast buffet
Toiletries like shampoos, shower gels, lotions, etc are in a small portion only. Plus the window of cutting the electricity was such a hassle. It’s a Kempinski hotel not a small chain hotel.
