Iririki Island Resort & Spa

Enjoyed our stay, plenty of activities included in the island, and frequent boats to the main land where we could explore and eat. Staff were very helpful and we loved the sunset happy hours

While it had very pretty views. Everything was quite ran-down. Bed sheets had a funny smell (even when changed everyday- maybe the detergent?) smelt like feet which then became the smell of the whole room. Its hot being a tropical country- which is lovely- except for the aircons dont stay on after you leave the room (i get that its saving power); but it then becomes a sauna when you return. The pool lights had fallen off completely or were hanging by cables. Tiles on the pool were broken off and quite sharp both around the pool edges and the steps into it. Staff weren’t overly friendly, only friendly at breakfast time when they come to your table everyday to try and book you their activities. Breakfast wasnt a very big variety- was quite disappointing for a buffet breakfast actually. They will also put a $302aud pre-authorisation charge on your room which they dont state at booking. It can take 10 days for it to go back onto your card after checkout. For the money and what you actually get- i wont be back.

Staying at Iririki Island Resort is an amazing experience.

Some thing are great about Iririki, the views of the sea from my bungalow were lovely. But overall, it's very overpriced for what it is. In particular, the restaurant is extremely overpriced, and I only ate there once because of this. There is only a small beach with sand, the other side of the Island has good snorkeling though. Housekeeping almost every day didn't leave enough towels, which for this price, was a but surprising. I stayed at 2 other places on my trip to Port Vila, and rate this place lower than both of those.
