Bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast (continental) was included in the price. Ample car parking. Restaurant serves evening meals (extra), and the food was good but quite expensive. (€23 for fish and chips). The location is handy for exploring the West Coast via the Ring of Kerry.

Let's be honest, this is hostel accommodation at best, albeit at Hotel prices(€130 per night for a double room and no discount for paying cash for a second night). The room was adequate but not particularly comfortable and had no TV or Tea/coffee making facilities, and the walls were paper thin so you can hear what's going on in the surrounding rooms and in the bar below. It's a bit out in the sticks but in a nice enough location. Parking is ample but across the main road. The views from some of the rooms can be lovely, when the clouds permit you can see right across the bay, but it is often covered by clouds and is changeable within minutes. There is nothing local, no shops or other places to eat/drink.

It’s really in the ring of Kerry way, so perfect location. The sea view is gorgeous and breakfast was good with bread, oat, coffee machine, fruits, cake, milk, iogurt, cheese and ham in the fridge.

The water ran out when my husband would take a shower so he didn’t.
