Surprisingly quiet and comfortable stay where the food gets the STAR!

Pleasant location, very quiet in wooded area with many ponds all around. There is a small beach area of white sand with umbrellas, tables and chairs, next to the water's edge, that is a great place to chill or have drinks. Paddle boat and kayaks are available at the dock next to the beach. The room is quite large, though feels a bit industrial in terms of decor. The real STAR is the restaurant. the FOOD is EXCELLENT! We never went off-site to eat because of the quality of the food for lunches and dinners. The breakfast buffet is qdequate, but nothing very special. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

The room decor is nothing great, even though they are very spacious. They feel more for business travelers then for couples. Probably fine for families with pets because it would be easy to clean.

Nice big rooms, great outdoor area with a bar and burger van and lots of outdoor space for children

Over priced food and drink. Cup of machine coffee was €5 and dinner options were all very expensive with little choice in local area.

Great overnight stop on way to St Malo ferry

Upgraded to suite with a kitchen - very good. Great walking trails and very dog friendly. Lovely bar area where you can eat with dog or you could eat outside in terrace. Restaurant looked nice. Staff were very helpful. Nice bathroom shower gel/lotion same as in spa (didn’t visit) we arrived at 7.30pm and left 7.30am so didn’t explore facilities further.

Room could have been a little better cleaned, think it had been unoccupied for a while & not freshened up.

Location of room, ease of parking. Spacious comfortable suite. Bath ok but wet room safer as shower access dangerous especially when disabled or aged.

Room facilities No dressing gowns or slippers as last time. No utensils or china so unable to eat and heat in the oven as last time No tea or milk No coffee just a machine. Some items were provided on request I had been assured when booking that the room I asked for was available and pencilled in however on arrival we were told not available and put in another room which in the event had a better view but no facilities as above

Really nice setting on a lake. Big apartment with kitchen. Good breakfast, kids were free. We also rented kayaks for an hour.

The room was a bit dated, but the setting and the friendly staff make up for it!

it ended up being just a stop over as rained hard in the morning so we couldn’t use the facilities.

We only used the room and the restaurant. We found the restaurant organisation too military. No room for discussion if you wanted to change tables even though we were the first in the restaurant. Tiny fridge with no possibility of ice. The little ice box was dirty, covered in mould. I had to clean first. I had tried to ring the spa to book treatments a couple of days before arriving but no answer after 20 minutes.

don’t stay here if it’s over 25 degrees

the hotel and location is lovely, perfect for a romantic getaway. unfortunately we had a really bad experience. we had booked a more expensive room with a balcony. when we opened the door it was like we opened a sauna. the sun set directly into our lovely room with its wide windows and doors into the balcony. it was a sweat box. no problem! that happens, we will Judy turn on the air conditioning while we have dinner and all will be ok ! so we turned the thermostat to air on and went for dinner. there was a large stand alone fan in our bedroom which we should have suspected that all was not as it seemed. later after a fantastic meal - the restaurant is really great- we returned- to the sweat box. although the sun had set the room was roasting - think of a car being in the sun for 8 hours hot . the air conditioning did not work. we opened all the foots and fiddled with the air conditioning. no joy. btw it was 28 that day. after a terrible sweaty non sleep we went to reception early the next morning to be told that no of course there is no air conditioning this is an eco hotel ! I checked and air conditioning is not listed . however in the room there is air conditioning icons and control panel in the room. I understand that this hotel is normally used in the winter months. the hotel was not fully booked and they could have given us a room where the sun did not set into the room, this room was not suitable for human habitation during high heat, why were we given this room ? this was a terrible experience

Nature and comfort

We like a lot territory of the hotel and nature around. The extra services like bikes, table tennis, beach and bar are very nice. The apartments are spacious with nice terrace and dining area outside. Kitchen has all necessary appliances and amenities. Parking under the apartments is very comfortable. The hotel is a really good place to relax.

To organize conditioning in the rooms. To add swimming pool on the territory. And it was not very convenient to have toilet not in the bathroom (master bedroom), but separately, with entrance only from the living room.

Comfortable but missing some conveniences

Lovely peaceful setting, Super restaurant.

No way to cool down the room. Fortunately after complaining we were moved to another room where we could leave the windows open. Trays of somebody else's breakfast food were left outside our room by the cleaners and were not cleared until the next day.

The grounds were beautiful and we really enjoyed the accommodations.

We couldn’t get some of the room amenities to work (a/c unit, towel warmer), but we didn’t spend much time there so it was alright.
