Did not have breakfast. Bathroom was clean but no soap provided in shower. Both soap dispensers were empty. The one at the sink did have some soap. I spoke with a female over the phone as there is no check in desk. She was exceptionally helpful and provided good directions to the hostel. She also guided me to the nearby parking. Very much appreciated.

The car parking was actually consisted of just two spaces (so I was told by staff). So I had to go to a nearby public car park. I had stuff loaded on a roof rack so was not impressed by this. Signage at the lobby was very difficult to spot.

In regards to the location of the lodging, it is within walking distance from the bus station. The lodging is situated near a pedestrian street with a bakery, supermarket, restaurants, and the like. It is also fairly simple to get to the older district of Cuenca which is one of the main reasons to visit the city. It was quite chilly outside during my stay but I found my room to be comfortably insulated and great for sleeping. I liked that there was a sink near the bed. This has nothing to do with the lodging. Be aware that from the bus station it is easy to walk to the lodging. I arrived in Cuenca from Toledo by bus. However, the AVE train station is a considerable distance from the city... and the public buses don't run until 8:00 or 9:00 am on Saturday mornings. I had a fairly early train to Alicante... and had to get a taxi to the AVE train station to be able to get to my train. I think the walk would've been too long. So, be aware that on weekends and holidays, the buses may not be running between about 6 and 9, and be aware that the AVE train station requires a bit more planning to get to at these times.

I'm a larger gentleman so it was literally a "squeeze" to get into the box shower. Any more belly and I would not have made it! This lodging makes use of secret codes in order to access the facility. I was having considerable difficulty but was lucky enough to run into another guest who had apparently had similar difficulties the day before... and she helped me access the main door, and then the interior door. These codes and passes are fine once you get the hang of them... but they proved a bit tricky the first time, for her and for me!

It was very clean and comfortable.

Cheap. Has everything which is needed, even a fan on top of the upper lightning. Quite nice.

No window means no intake of fresh air. Very cumbersome check-in process. No sound insulation, thanks God my neighbors were quiet - but I surely woke them up at 6 am when getting out. I will surely look for something else next time.
