Location and staff, and the fact that it wasn’t carpet in the room. Also there was a kettle, which was nice

We were in room 601, right next to the elevator, so it was quite noisy. In addition, the room was poorly insulated, so we had to turn the heating up full blast because it was very cold. Then one of the two shutters was broken, so it couldn't be closed, which meant that we were woken up at sunrise.

Aparthotel is a 30 min walk from the center

Easy to find, walking distance from the final stop of Rhonexpress (going from the airport) and from the city centre and attractions. Good mattress and kitchen items needed for a small level of cooking are in place.

Definitely a good place to stay for the price

The location was centrally and easy to get to transportation, and the staff were available around the clock if needed. Good parking lot. Room was large.

The elevator was out, which was annoying for luggage-both from the parking lot and from the lobby.

Great place to stay. Can’t wait for the construction to be finished.

It was all we could expect and more. The staff that checked us in we friendly and helpful. We saw him each day and he was the one that got us the information on the city and made the stay great

It is a great property. The breakfast was just what you expected in France. Our daughter and granddaughter were thrilled to eat like a Frenchman.

Great little city centre hotel

The room was large enough for us and the 2 kids. It even had a little kitchen area which was unexpected. Very helpful staff and we could leave our baggage all day after check out as our flight was very late. Good location close to a metro station and 15 mins walk from part dieu train station.

Overall ok, for a short stay, we (wife & I )needed a place to stay for 3 nights for rugby.

Reasonably comfy bed. Kettle, fridge. utensils. Shower power. Location to the train station (10 mins).

Small room, very stuffy, dated and area's not cleaned properly. Lack of hangers for clothes, No drawers. No hair dryer but was able to get one from reception. Very expensive for what you get. However the price probably bumped up because of the rugby world cup. Would not stay here other than rugby weekend. 1 staff member not particularly helpful, asked for extra pillow, we where told hotel didnt have any. However we asked a different staff member following day, who provided us with '2'.

Very expensive for what you get. The cupboard doors in our apartment were broken, the floor was dirty around the edges and the bathroom had a horrible drain smell.

clever budget appart'hotel

The parking of the hotel is directly communicated with the Hotel through the stairs, which is very useful to leave big bags in the car and take only the necessary stuff . The parking is totally closed to the public so it looks safe. Although rooms look a bit wore out, they have closets and tables to use as desk. The most impressive was the kitchen provided with fridge, pans, plates, glasses, cuttlery , microwave oven and electric stove. Just everything you need to cook if travelling on a budget. TV had an option for chromecast .

Since the key card of the parking door is the same as the room door, you need to leave the hotel with your car after checkout, there is a mailbox in the parking to leave the key card. Not a big problem actually , since Lyon has a lot of parking spaces , but it would have been perfect to leave the car there for a couple of hours more.

Exceptional

The staff is very friendly. Everything is clean. The room looks more like an apartment than a room. The living-sleeping area is large, the bathroom is not small, and there is also a separate kitchen. Suitable for people with small children. An electric stove, refrigerator and sink are located in the kitchen. The location is not bad, but the bus station is far. Although, a taxi is not expensive. We paid €11 for an Uber taxi from the hotel to the bus station.

For this money I could return

The hotel is easy to reach from the Part Dieu train station and at 15 min walking from old city center. There are plenty of places to have a coffee or eat in the neighborhood. checkin was smooth, chekout same and I could leave my luggage there until afternoon.

It is a low profile hotel, nothing special, no plug near bed. Furniture can be updated , bed was fine. I had only one incident having a scandal in the room next to me and needed to intervine myself at 5 am , didnt had a phone in the room to call the reception .

I did jot enjoy the hotel. Lyon is a nice city to visit.

The location was not far from city center, parking spots were easily available around the hotel which were freely usable during bank holidays.

The building desperately needs renovation. closet doors were derailed and unfixable. Bathtub protection glass was not protecting water leak, every shower caused water to run down the floor. The breakfast was not great either. They announced 7 to 10AM for the breakfast, the next day they said it’s 7 to 9:30AM and they had no eggs to make an omelette on Monday morning at 9:30am.

The hotel is lovely, the town itself is dreamy

Just great if you arrive in Annecy by train and it's not a long stay – very close to the lake and the train/bus station, cosy, quiet and close to all the shops and restaurants too! Friendly staff, helpful and amiable.

The room could be a bit bigger, I had nowhere to store my suitcase which is rather big, and the closet is also small, fit for one guest, but no more. And a bit more veggies and greens at breakfast would be nice too. But the experience in general was indeed very pleasant.

if you want to cook, you have to buy oil, salt, peper, everything you need. you can’t find anything in the room

Superb

Nice little apartment, the kitchen was comfortable. Staff was nice. Free luggage storage after check-out. The area seemed quite safe even late at night. There is a (surprisingly big) 24h store 5mins away, and the train station & city center are all within walkable distance if you don't mind walking :)

Finally the give us another residence, the Part Dieu , which was very usueful for us, just a 5 minute walk from the train station, the room is small but confortable, and a very rich and good breakfast.

My new second-home in Lyon

For me it's very important the positive human interaction and I love the staff here. They are very servicial, attentive, kind and professional.

There's no climatisation and I felt the high temperatures even at night but there are fans in the rooms, so it was acceptable.
