Staff were good, hotel was clean

Further away from the airport than indicated, very little food choice, bed and pillows very hard, constant humming noise, so had a poor night sleep, room very hot but couldn’t open the window due to the noise, wasn’t advised about the additional parking charge when we first booked

- Location - Staff (2 staff were great, the third not so helpful) - Nextdoor/attached to a 24/7 garage for any unexpected needs, like snacks.

The location itself was handy, but hard to get to by foot, after getting of the bus at the nearest bus stop, about 20 minutes away. Having to cut through a field! Luckily it wasn’t raining. Not the hotels fault I may add. If getting there by car or taxi then it’s ok, but I sadly didn’t have access to either when visiting.

It was ok, for the price I paid I can’t really complain as it’s fit for a bed for the night which was the intended purpose. The members of staff I saw were both happy and friendly.

Facilities lacked, it wasn’t very clean and the bed was the most uncomfortable i’ve ever slept on.

We came up to Derby for a funeral and expected our stay to be as pleasant as possible, but the smell in the room wasn’t

Power went out in the room, not able to move us, or offer any solutions. This took 1.40hr to do

The service station having a door from the hotel into the shop was the best part. Meant we could get a hot drink and food while we had to wait an hour or two for the single member of staff to try and help us

The staffs lack of ability to handle a problem constructively, and how helpless they appeared to be to manage the place. The staff attitude when calling up to get a refund his morning was snappy and belittling, as if trying to answer a question I hadn't even asked. On the night itself while we sat and waited for assistance, we watched 3 groups of people have to one back to reception as their cards didn't work, and multiple visitors were talking about an argument between the staff during their swap over that night.

Won’t be booking any Days Inn again

Location was suitable for my journey.

Television didn’t work. Heating was on but the window was open. Bathroom sealant was starting to go mouldy. Room vastly out of date and very dull. Having to pay for parking is an insult.

The staff were friendly.

The room was not particularly pleasant. There was some liquid stains on most of the walls, the painting was done without care, the lamp shades were tattered and torn and it turns out the breakfast that we paid for was a cereal in a box, decided to go to Greggs next door instead.

Good value for the money we paid, receptionist give us a quiet room away from traffic noise also she was very helpful giving us information about the local area.

The room smelt of smoke. The room was booked with breakfast, turned out to be a breakfast box, which was okay but don’t remember reading this on booking.

They charge £5 for parking, a bit expensive. To get to a restaurant for an evening meal is quiet a detor along the motorway and back, about 4miles each way, the nearest is the Dog & Duck, not the best pub food ever, very dry.

Location for driving east on A50 not great. You have to go a long way in the wrong direction before you can turn around.
