    A very good stay overall, with strong value for the money and a convenient location for shopping. The property was clean, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the bathroom had reliable hot water and useful amenities. The facilities were a clear highlight. However, you need to get a room with a window view; otherwise, you may feel suffocated in the room. It’s a nice place within walking distance of major attractions and the train station. It’s one of the choices for London Marathon runners. Staff service was the one area that felt less consistent, but it did not outweigh the comfortable, well-maintained experience.

    Right across from Embankment Station, short walk to Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and St. James Park. Was also very easy to cross the bridge and walk along South Bank to the Globe Theatre and Tate Modern. Room service was excellent, and staff were all wonderful.

    I chose this hotel with a higher expectations. The lobby looks amazing. Classic. The candy cart was a nice treat! We stayed for five nights in the Royal Horseguards. Breakfast was underwhelming. Same spread everyday. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of variety and the waiting staff was subpar. The front desk and concierge need some training on friendliness and courteousness. I feel that this hotel is understaff. Our room is ok. I requested for a quiet room and they put me on the fifth floor on the corner facing The OWO and the street noise was bothersome. The furniture is tired. The desk chair needs to be replaced. Our bed is not comfortable at all. This was our last leg of our trip in the UK, my husband I was excited for this stay but we were just too tired to complain. I’m expecting at least a 4 star experience but I got a 2 1/2. I can’t say I recommend this property but the only plus is the location. It is close to a lot of sites we like to see.
