Exceptional

We love the view around the guest house especially the gigantic mountains around it. The location is for hikers, like us, perfect. It is not so far from Leutasch Gorge (2.5 Km, 30 Min. walk), as well as not so far from Mittenwald (5 km, around 1 hr.) and on the other direction not so far from Weidach (6.6 km, around 1 hr.). There's also an option to take a bus and it's for free (you just show the guest card from the guest house). It is very peaceful around which is very good for relaxation after a long and exhausting hike. The guest house is very cozy and the cleanliness is very well maintained. They have a kitchen with dining area and facilities like microwave oven and refrigerator for the guest's personal food so they can eat there whenever they want to. They also have there plates, untensils, glasses, cups and dishwashing things to use. The kitchen is a very practical idea in case the restaurants are closed (which was our situation because we were there during the time that the restaurants around and in nearby areas were still not open). Their breakfast was good and sufficient. The staffs are friendly, polite and very approachable especially the owner Bart. He was always there ready to answer our querries or inform us about the areas around or some options what we could do around. Though we were there at the not so good timing because of the weather and the season, it was still a very well spent vacation for us and we were thankful that we booked this guest house! We were there to hike, relax and enjoy the view and we got it! We were very satisfied that we planned to go and stay there next time! We can only suggest and guarantee that this place is really worth it!

I may only admire this place which not only is in a great location, but also has a very nice interior, is very clean, well-equipped and comfortable. We really liked the cool vibe of the house and also the very nice, kind and helpfull host of it. A nice shared kitchen and lounge is also available.

The view of our room was alright, but we had somehow more expectations of it :)

Had a wonderful stay at Bart's. Peaceful place between the mountains. Stayed at Unterkirchen to visit Zugspitze. - Clean and tidy nothing to complain. Great food with some home made Belgian snacks as well.

Breakfast was perfect- everything we could’ve felt like, and the views were unreal. Would love to return!

The breakfast is very diverse, I think that every taste is covered. The host Bart is very kind and the location is a bit far off, but that’s what I was looking for. There are restaurants a few minutes away and Bart can recommend restaurants and places that are near.You‘re right between the mountains and the view and the little river not far from the Pension are spectacular. The room was very modern and I felt comfortable.I would definitely come again and recommend this accommodation to my friends.

Toller Kurzaufenthalt zum Langlaufen

Bart ist ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Alles tip-top sauber und gemütlich. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Im Aufenthaltsraum gibt es Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle, so dass man sich mittags und abends auch selbst versorgen kann. Die Bushaltestelle und die Loipe liegen direkt vor der Tür. Es gibt einen Wachsraum zum Ski wachsen. Perfekt!

Uns hat es sehr gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und wurde immer freundlich präsentiert. Alle wichtigen Informationen wurden von einem gutgelaunten Gastgeber weitergereicht. Die schöne Sauna konnten wir alleine nutzen. Auch der zusätzliche kleine Aufenthaltsraum mit Küche ist sehr praktisch. Besonders gefallen hat uns auch der direkte Zugang zur Loipe und die praktischen Schränke für Skier und Schuhe.

Das "kleine Zimmer" ist schon sehr klein, wenn man sich länger darin aufhalten möchte und - wie im Winter meist zutreffend - nasse Sportkleidung usw hat. Diese zu trocknen gibt es recht wenig Platz. Man kann sich eigentlich nur im Bett aufhalten - aber daran kann man sich auch gewöhnen ;-) Gut, dass es den zusätzlichen Gastraum mit Küchenzeile gibt. Dort kann man sich auch mal einen Tee kochen oder eine Brotzeit machen.

Der Besitzer und Leiter war einfach Klasse. Er hat viel Vorgeschlagen was man unternehmen kann und hat gerne alle Fragen beantwortet. Das Frühstück hat er auch immer sehr gut gemacht.

Die Sportgeräte sind alt und funktionieren nicht mehr richtig.

Sehr schöner und liebevoll eingerichteter Gasthof mit einem zuvorkommenden Gastgeber

Ein gemütlicher und sehr sauberer Gasthof mit einem zuvorkommenden und hilfsbereiten Besitzer! Danke, Bart! Er hat uns Tips gegeben, wir konnten nach Wunsch die Sauna nutzen und das absolut empfehlenswerte Frühstück genießen. Der Frühstücksraum mit Kamin, schöner Ausstattung und liebevoll bereiteten Speisen wie dem Birchermüssli mit Grieß und Chiasamen können wir nur weiter empfehlen. Der Gasthof hat einen Gemeinschaftsraum wo man gemütlich zusammensitzen, sich einen Kaffee machen oder auch Fußball schauen kann. Auch dieser Raum ist liebevoll und harmonisch eingerichtet.

Wir waren zu viert (4 Erwachsene) unterwegs und hatten das Familienzimmer im Erdgeschoss gebucht. Die kleinen Zimmer mit einer Verbindungstür zum Bad sind deutlich kleiner als auf den Bildern. Die Stockbetten sind für Erwachsene nicht zu empfehlen, da das obere Bett zu nah an der Decke liegt. Für Kinder ist es kein Problem. Die Sauna kostet extra, (15€ pro Zimmer),was aus meiner Sicht nicht zu erkennen war (in der Beschreibung auf Booking). In der Sauna wäre Seife, vielleicht 1 oder 2 Flaschen Wasser und ein Duft schön gewesen. Trotzdem haben wir es genossen sich zu entspannen, nach einer langen Wanderung und können die Sauna nur empfehlen. Das wichtigste wären aber die Matratzen im Doppelbett. Sie sind sehr weich und rutschen wenn man beim Hinsetzen nicht aufpasst, aus dem Gestell. Zu viel Drehen beim Schlafen kann zum bösen Erwachen auf dem Boden führen. Hier würden wir eine Nachbesserung vorschlagen.

De locatie was fantastisch, we vonden het jammer dat we maar één nacht gebleven waren. We komen zeker nog eens terug. De ontvangst was supervriendelijk, het gasthaus heel gezellig en sfeervol en het ontbijt helemaal top.
