Allowed me to store bike in bedroom

Room had not been cleaned from last visitors (picture attached). Very dirty. Was not aware that I would be sharing kitchen and bathroom with a stranger. Only stayed here as everything else was booked.

Close to town.

While close to town, location was in a very rundown area that genuinely felt unsafe. Drug users outside, people digging through the bins and a sign asking someone to return a stolen suitcase to the complex. Room was not clean. Sticky surfaces everywhere, covered with dust, horrible smell and dirty floors. Heard repeated knocking on the door throughout the night which awoke and startled me. We considered leaving and staying somewhere else for the night but survived (barely) as it was only 1. Not even worth the cheap price, spent an extra 20-30 bucks and get somewhere that feels like you won’t get murdered in your sleep.

Friendly and comfortable.

Tea coffee in room when I got there. Clean Sheets and bed made ready I asked for this as an extra at no extra costs. Easy access to premises. Friendly staff. A fan was really appreciated.

The room I was in was noisy ie air conditioning vent outside my window went all night I did ask to move rooms which the staff were only too happy to assist to a room change.

Waste of money

Very unprofessional staff at Columbia accommodation. They were blackmailing me at check-in, demanding extra security deposit and then cutting money unfairly during return. There was no room cleaning for 3 days, they even charged extra for laundry without any reason. No WiFi was provided as promised. Overall, I do NOT recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Cheap and central

Great cheap accommodation with private room. Good if your out and about most of the time. Excellent city location close to K road and Queen st. One apartment with 3 seperate locked rooms sharing shower toilet and kitchen. I've never used the kitchen. Great if the other two rooms have quiet tenants. Most of the time I've been there the other rooms are quiet or empty. If lucky you might get a higher floor which have awesome city views.

Have stayed a few times, but this time the room had a slight stale smell. It's cheap enough so not bothered.

The room we had was filthy, stains all over the floor, hair all through the bed, the shower was rusty and mouldy and the towels we were given to use had crumbs etc on them🥺

My room was ok. The bed was the perfect type for me and handy double door wardrobe. The desk was great. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The other areas of my apartment were gross, pubic in multiple areas, and didn't look like it had been cleaned properly in quite some time.

Comfortable but could have been better.

I had a super room. At the price you got what you get. I found the general areas in the building could do with some tlc but my room was ok.

A bit more cleaning in the general areas. They are all flats with 3 rooms. If you had a noisy neighbour , the walls are paper thin. For what I paid I didn't expect more really, it was central and served it's purpose.

Very bad check in experience with staff member arguing with a tenant. Also the $200 deposit seems a little much.

Not worth the money

it had a nice location

The room smelled quite badly of smoke and rubbish. The bed was small and uncomfortable and the beddings smelled like they hadn’t been washed. The shower was dirty.

Short, but actually not sweet.

The price. But as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.... The location was pretty good.

Pretty much everything else really. When we arrived we had to wait for what seemed 10 minutes as the guy at the counter explained something to someone who was moving out. No one else approached us or offered to help. The one guy just ignored us until he had finished. The fan in our room didn't work, so after testing all of the power sockets to make sure it was the fan nor the power, we let the main at the counter about the fan when we left. He couldn't care less, but offered to give us another fan, which we would have to collect and take up to the room ourselves. We paid a $200 bond in case of damage so I was worried that he might charge us for the fan. Luckily he didn't, and the charge was refunded promptly the next day when we checked out.

The location was close to the city and across the street from a Uni hall.

There was a shooting on the street our second night. There were 4 cop cars outside. Felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. We checked out early due to feeling so unsafe.
