The site is an incredible piece of history
It’s tricky providing luxury accommodation in a building like this it’s well worth the trade off.
air conditioning is hard to install the loft rooms are very hot during a heatwave this may need to be addressed
Nothing really apart from the lack of aircon fit and finish is average

The history and ambience of the castle. The lovely grounds. The dinner and staff were excellent.
The room was very warm and the bed was too soft. The perpetual background piano was annoying.

Food was lovely, as was the location. Staff were very helpful
On final bill, there was ab optional 10% service charge on every service, 2 small bottles of water at dinner £16 ??? First room kitchen extractor was turned on at 6.30am so noisy.

Historical and quiet
Doves and crows fighting in the walls. Rats. Overpriced with pretentious of being better.
