Very nice solution, although in a city block which is not in the right centre, strategic to all main roads

Room was clean and had everything I needed, and more. There was not only a bed but also a small sofa, a large window and even an extra pillow available on the shelf. Luggage storage was also available. Air conditioning was very efficient and adjustable.
The place was quiet and calm, but the pipes were surprisingly loud and I woke up at 4am to someone taking a shower.
Also the breakfast didn't have as many dairy free/vegan options as other Scandic hotels I've visited previously. Quite a bit of gluten free was available though.

Amazing value for money! The hotel has more of a feel of a budget hotel (a small lobby and breakfast room, an atmosphere that was on the modest side), but the room provided everything we needed for one night! Good breakfast and friendly, accommodating staff. Great public transport connections everywhere.
The area is not the nicest in Helsinki, but this was far outweighed by the fact that the hotel provided great value for money!

breakfast was really good, location is excellent, staff are friendly and helpful.
the door didn't lock from the outside so it was just open any time I left the room. there was someone else's plaster on the shower floor.
