Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor is perhaps one of the best places in the world to experience old-world charm, the comforts of a bygone era and beautifully preserved, period-authentic details. We spent a week here and absolutely loved it. We were upgraded to a lovely suite overlooking the pool and the wonderfully lush grounds. Even the vintage elevator, beautifully maintained and still in use, was a small joy every time we stepped into it! The location is hard to beat...right in the heart of Siem Reap and wonderfully close to the temple circuit. After a day exploring Angkor, coming back to the quiet elegance of the Raffles and its massive pool was always a pleasure. Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet was superb, but what really impressed us was the warmth and attentiveness of the team. The chef and service staff went out of their way to accommodate our individual dietary preferences and even off-menu requests, doing so with genuine ease and care. That level of personalised attention is rare and was executed flawlessly. The team is exceptionally well trained, yet the service feels warm, natural and deeply personal. The Raffles manages that increasingly rare combination of history, elegance, comfort and genuine hospitality. We would happily return for the people, the place and the perfection The Raffles embodies.

We had an amazing stay at Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor during our honeymoon! The hotel is beautiful and centrally-located, the rooms are luxurious, and the service throughout our stay made the experience especially memorable. A special thank you to Resident Sommelier Socheata. She made both our dinner at 1932 and our wine tasting in the cellar unforgettable. Her knowledge, passion, and warm personality made learning about the wines so much fun, and she tailored the experience perfectly for us. She was truly one of the highlights of our stay. We also want to recognize Syda, Saravann, Junva, and Lee for making our experience so amazing. The entire team was incredibly welcoming and generous - for example, the team provided us with a large backpack containing many pastries, fruits, and coffees to ensure we were well-fed during our guided sunrise tour of the temples at Angkor Wat. We also loved the little touches in our room, especially receiving different local fruits along with information cards each evening. The pool area was grand and such a great place to relax, enjoy the beautiful weather, and order food and drinks throughout the day. Raffles helped make our honeymoon even more special by coordinating a photographer team (upon our request) for a photoshoot around the property. The hotel provided such a beautiful backdrop, and the team was extremely helpful in making everything come together. We also really enjoyed the Angkor Sling cocktail-making experience and all our meals at the restaurants on the property. Overall, this was a wonderful and memorable stop on our honeymoon, and the incredible staff and attention to detail are what really made our stay stand out. We would absolutely recommend Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor to anyone visiting Siem Reap!

Excellent location and impeccably-maintained property. Just a perfect hotel.

There is nothing to dislike.

Great location, the hotel has some grounds and greenery which was super nice!

The room had mould problem which resulted in terrible smell in the room. We were also give the room by the entrance which was very loud from all the traffic. Facilities outside like sun loungers were very worn down with staines, the same can be said about the towels.
