Everything good about the stay, but it was overpriced compared to other properties in the location.
Food was very tasty, rooms were good but could have been cleaner. There was a noticeable bias and preferential treatment in the staff treatment based on nationality (we travelled whole of Egypt, this case was only observed here).

I booked superior rooms as the reviews of general rooms were not good, so I would recommend everyone to book superior rooms to get the new renovated rooms though the hotel is old. Our rooms were clean and the hotel service was good.

The hotel has different types of rooms. This feedback is about standard triple room 406 on 4th floor which are really in bad condition.
1. shower valve was broken, so we couldn’t mix hot and cold water. Water was hardly dripping from shower. So, barely we were able to take shower.
2. The shower area is very small and you may keep hitting your arms on the walls and pipes.
3. The shower floor board had a crack which was letting dirty water from below the floor come up touching your feet.
4. The balcony door lock was not working and since all balconies were separated by small wall which can easily be trespassed. It compromised the safety of our luggage and items.
5. At the night of checkin, they maintain a hard copy register where all guests checkin details are are pre written along with potential room so that staff can guide them. In our case it was not very clearly mentioned, so the staff at the night struggled for 20min to find us the room. It was 1am and we were already deprived of sleep.
Breakfast was good and spread was nice. If you want to stay in the hotel, you should pick other rooms. I just had issues with the room they gave me. As far is hotel is concerned - i would recommend for budget stay. It 2km away from main nile road.
