We loved this hotel. The bedrooms and views were lovely. Food was fantastic and staff very friendly, especially Vijay. Very relaxed atmosphere. The location on the A9 is very handy for travelling around.

Big room and bathroom. Comfy bed. Good breakfast.
Breakfast room - boring space - no view - when there is a lovely view available in the dining room. Good breakfast. Didn't like owner conducting his business at the nicest sitting area very noisily. Dinner - £34 for the 2 course menu on offer was very very poor. Broccoli cooked to oblivion. 3 tiny haggis bonbon were over cooked. Chicken curry was OK. Pie OK. Scampi OK. Waiting staff eager and willing but untrained to deliver the service required for the room price. For £250+ per room per night we won't be going back. View from our bedroom over service area and friends bedroom over adjacent walls. There is no lift which was a problem for our party. Stairs badly lit and a hazard. Our reflections on food etc were conveyed at the time - were they delivered? Of no help to us!
