Friendly staff, clean, well decorated, fantastic shower.

The location was great and the room had everything I needed. Staff very helpful. It was a very hot day, so a large but quiet fan was provided which made temperature in the room much cooler. I was also able to request drinking water for my room. A supermarket very close, if you need any snacks or toiletries.

It was all very good.

Location was great, staff were friendly.

The room we had was not up to standard. The shower is awful, just drips. The paint was peeling off the bathroom walls. The fridge sounds like it’s dispensing ice all the time, which was disruptive in the night. The chair in the room was disgustingly stained. Nothing had been pat tested in the room since March last year. We were moved to the the sister hotel and our stay was much more pleasant. The chef also needs to be make sure the pancakes are fully cooked as I had some raw batter in one of mine. Which was a shame as they were tasty. I would say the actual website for the hotel promotes the two hotels as luxury stays which was definitely not the case for our stay. We were told there is a refurbishment in the autumn of the rooms.
