Enjoyable stay
We stayed here several years ago so we are familiar with this hotel. Our room was well presented and very comfortable but it was small. Good selection of tea/coffee etc plus biscuits. The bathroom, on the other hand, was on the large side for a typical hotel bathroom. Breakfast was excellent - a great continental choice plus hot dishes to order. The bar is comfy and homely - lovely on a cold winter's evening. And they served a good beer, according to my husband. We had an issue with fluctuating water temperatures in the shower which we reported first thing in the morning. The staff member on duty immediately checked the problem and a plumber was called. By the time we returned to the room in the afternoon, the problem had been fixed so credit where credit is due.
Although it had everything we needed, the room was on the small side. It was ok for a couple of nights but could potentially feel a bit claustrophobic after a while. There wasn't really much storage space - we were ok with small cabin style bags but you'd have trouble storing a suitcase there. I will make a note to myself to check room sizes in the future when using online booking sites - I may have been able to book a larger room.

Perfect location next to the water. Balcony room was lovely, great decor and very comfortable bed. All staff encountered were friendly, welcoming and professional. Included breakfast was of really great quality.

Room, staff and Hotel really nice. We stayed in a room overlooking the water. Breafast was superb both days. Would recommend.
