Riad Flam & Spa

Riad Flam was fabulous!! The breakfast was fresh and plentiful: different types of bread, fresh fruit, yoghurts, eggs, cakes, orange juice, mint tea and more. We had dinner one night at the Riad and that too was delicious and plentiful. You will never go hungry at Riad Flam and Spa!! The location of the Riad was out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the medina but near enough to be 'in the thick of things' within a 7 minute walk. The narrow alleyways, with shops, aromas, chatter, motorbikes, children playing, enthusiastic traders and more, were all within a short walking distance. Our room was on the ground floor (as requested by us) and was very spacious... many thanks for meeting our request and attending to our needs. There was plenty wardrobe space for clothes, shoes etc. and our suitcases fitted in too! The air-conditioning was very much needed and welcomed. The Riad itself was located at the end of a typical derb (alleyway) and initially felt quite intimidating. However, we were reassured that the area was very safe and indeed that was absolutely the case. I feel I must mention the staff who were absolutely fantastic. Their service, attendance, charm, sense of humour, diligence, efficiency and calmness were outstanding. A special mention goes to Issam, Hussain and Najla who started work at the front desk 2 days after we arrived. Najla was on point and you would not have known she was new to the job. Good luck Najla, we wish you well! All of the staff we encountered were superb! Thank you team Riad Flam and Spa!!

We found our room to be quite dark even with the lights on but realised and appreciated this is mainly to do with the typical design of riads. However, it was a very small issue which we became accustomed to.

The staff's service was excellent - cordial and attentive to all our needs. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a beautiful towel sculpture and flower petals throughout the room - perfect for celebrating our wedding anniversary! The Hammam and massage package was a delightful surprise! We left feeling like we were literally floating; it was the best relaxation experience of our lives, even having visited many spas before. We would especially like to thank the lady at the Hammam and Neima (who gave us three massages) for their excellent work! Our room looked newly renovated and was very beautiful! The location is also excellent, very close to the main streets of the medina. It was also extremely clean - one of the few places where I felt comfortable walking barefoot, aside from my own home! The rooftop Jacuzzi has wonderful jets! We are already planning to return to the Riad and will recommend it to our friends!

Everything was perfect! And the staff is always attentive to every need you may have!

A legjobb döntésünk volt – több, mint egy szállás, valódi vendéglátás és élmény ❤️ Őszintén szólva több napot töltöttünk azzal, hogy megtaláljuk a számunkra tökéletes riadot Marrakechben. Rengeteget keresgéltünk, összehasonlítottunk, véleményeket olvastunk, és végül a Riad Flam & Spa mellett döntöttünk. Most, hogy hazautaztunk, teljes bizonyossággal mondhatom: életünk egyik legjobb szállásválasztása volt. Már az első pillanattól kezdve olyan ellátásban, kedvességben, figyelmességben és profizmusban volt részünk, amely messze túlmutatott azon, amit egy szálláshelytől vár az ember. Az egész személyzet végtelen kedvességgel, alázattal, odafigyeléssel és valódi vendégszeretettel dolgozik. Nem éreztük azt egyetlen pillanatban sem, hogy „csak vendégek” vagyunk. Inkább úgy éreztük, mintha egy családhoz érkeztünk volna. Minden kívánságunknak eleget tettek. Amikor például az Agafay-sivatagba indultunk, nagyon korai volt a pick-up időpontunk. A személyzet már kora reggel rendelkezésünkre állt, és reggelit is készítettek számunkra, hogy indulás előtt se maradjunk étel nélkül. Ez a fajta figyelmesség nagyon sokat jelentett nekünk. A Riad saját hammamja egyszerűen fantasztikus. Kétszer is igénybe vettük, és mindkét alkalom csodálatos élmény volt, a masszázzsal együtt. Mindenkinek szívből ajánlom, aki itt jár. A második hammam után pedig egy újabb különleges meglepetésben volt részünk: a hammamot végző hölgy ott maradt, és tradicionális, valódi berber hennát készített nekünk gyönyörű berber mintákkal. Felejthetetlen élmény volt. Az egyik este megemlítettük, hogy szeretnénk elmenni vízipipázni, azonban a Medina területén erre nincs igazán lehetőség. A Riad tulajdonosa erre egyszerűen azt mondta, hogy semmi probléma, nekik van shishájuk, és készített nekünk egy fantasztikus, mentás vízipipát. Hussein, az egyik recepciós pedig leült mellénk, és amíg mi shisháztunk, rengeteget mesélt Marokkóról, a hagyományaikról, a kultúrájukról és arról, hogyan élnek.

Ilyet őszintén nem tapasztaltunk.

I liked the location.

I like a clean environment, the room could have been cleaner. Hair on menus soap dispenser hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Personally found staff too laid back, two staff walked past me 30 minutes later got offered a coffee. Got left out side raid for 13 minutes ringing the bell.
