SOL by Meliá Katmandú Park and Resort

The room was spacious only we didn’t know that balcony would be very small that you can’t even get out being on the 8th floor. Location was good as well.

1. Noisy during the nights from the floor and side we were. 2. The sliding door at the balcony does not sealed well hence we could heard the noise. 3. If you are going with a toddler under 3, the hotel said they can look after them but they did not the week we were staying and there was no communication so that was disappointing. 4. The slides are for children over 5 years mainly so bear in mind if you are going with underaged kids. Our daughter played with the one slide only. Due to the kids adventures not being to look after our daughter as we planned, we had to do the activities in the park individually. 5. The entertainment in the evening are not the best. 7. Bring your towel as you have to pay €1 everytime you want to change it- those used at the pool.

Food was good with small variations. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Lots of kids centric activities in the park and in the neighborhood. Good kids club in English

Fresh vegetables were never fresh.

Quite a few things to do on site.

The facilities were over-hyped and we're very small in comparison to what is shown in the pictures. Not much that is suitable for toddlers it's more geared to slightly older children. Food was quite repetitive.
