Flag Hotel Valencia

The hotel is an older building, but it is fairly well maintained and generally in good condition. It also has an outdoor swimming pool, although it only opens at 10 a.m., which is not particularly convenient in summer when it gets hot early and you might want to cool down before heading out for the day. One very convenient feature is the gate from the hotel grounds that leads directly to the parking lot of the supermarket next door. This is great if you need to quickly buy drinks, snacks, or anything else before going into Valencia or heading to the beach. The hotel breakfast is quite standard, with pastries, ham, cheese, fruit, yogurt, eggs, and a few other options. In my opinion, however, €12 per person is rather expensive for what is offered.

The main disadvantage for us was the location. The hotel is next to a large roundabout and busy roads connected to the motorway. Because of this, the area is really not suitable for walking. Even though the beach does not look very far away on the map, getting there on foot would mean crossing several busy roads and motorway exits where cars drive quite fast. We therefore didn't consider walking to the beach a safe or practical option. Overall, the hotel is perfectly fine for a short stay if you have a car and plan to drive to Valencia and the surrounding beaches, but I would not recommend the location to anyone who expects to be able to walk around the area or reach the beach on foot.

It’s pretty close to the airport, can’t tell about public transport because I used a car. It’s good that it has free parking but they can run out of spaces. Beds were comfy, bathroom had everything I needed

There was no warm water- to me it was not warm enough. Rooms are really missing small fridges, and it would be great to have utilities and plates. View from the room on the back of Carrefour is really for someone who expects nothing but bed to sleep before or after their flight.

Breakfast was very poor, not much choice.

Too old, it could modernize a little bit, the pool chairs were broken, the overall painting was noticeable old, also the bathroom
