Hotel Colón, a Gran Meliá Hotel - The Leading Hotels of the World

The rooms are spacious and stocked with everything one might need for a comfortable stay. The bathrooms are lovely, and the mattress and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. After every room service, chocolate and a card with a brief history of the artist whose works are displayed throughout the hotel are left on the bed, this made the experience feel thoughtful and curated. During my stay, the hotel also organized a flamenco performance, which further enhanced the sense of place and attention to detail.

As a five-star hotel, I would have expected an iron and ironing board to be available in every room rather than only upon request. Other than that, everything else was excellent.

Location was ideal for exploring Seville. Most places easily accessible on foot.

Hotel Colón is a wonderful place to stay in Seville. Its location is excellent, with all the main attractions within easy reach. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. Breakfast offered a great variety, including gluten-free options. The Flamenco show was a lovely surprise! A special thank you to Isobel (I hope I’ve spelled that correctly) at the front desk, Daniel in the bar, Maria from housekeeping, and the hardworking doormen who endured the heat with a smile. One small suggestion: please consider changing the Lavazza coffee or adding a darker roast option, as the current coffee was a little too acidic for our taste. Overall, a fantastic stay and highly recommended!
