Radisson Blu Bosphorus Hotel

The hotel has a perfect location and a beautiful view. The entrance was welcoming, and the staff were generally nice and friendly. Our room was clean and well equipped with useful toiletries, including slippers, a dental kit, shampoo, body wash, and other essentials. The highlight of our stay was definitely the Bosphorus view from our room. It was beautiful and made the stay feel special. I would also like to mention Lale, who was particularly responsive, polite, and helpful whenever we needed assistance. Her service stood out. The sauna was included with our stay, which was a nice perk, and I really enjoyed using it. Housekeeping was also adequate and provided daily, with the option to skip it if preferred. The parking lot is conveniently located right across from the hotel, and we felt that the parking area was safe and convenient.

Upon arrival, I asked about the extra bed I had specifically requested with my booking, only to be told that the hotel was not aware of the request. After checking my reservation, the staff confirmed that the extra bed had in fact been requested, but I still had to call again after checking in to have it brought to the room. This was disappointing, especially given the standard I expected from the hotel and the price we paid. Unfortunately, the extra bed itself was extremely uncomfortable and caused me significant back pain. The room also had only one set of towels upon arrival, so we had to contact the hotel to request additional towels. There were also several maintenance issues. The safe was not working, and the air conditioning was only cooling the room rather than allowing us to properly control the temperature. We informed two different staff members about these issues at separate times, but nothing was fixed, and we were not given any update or indication that anyone was working on resolving them. Overall, the biggest disappointment was not simply that there were problems, but that we repeatedly brought them to the staff's attention and saw no meaningful follow-up. For a hotel at this price point, I expected much better attention to detail, communication, and service.

I stayed in the annex building, and while the entrance already felt somewhat sketchy, the real issue was the overwhelming foul smell that hit me the moment I stepped inside. On top of that, the room and facilities were outdated and really need renovating.
