Bentley Hotel Bosphorus - Special Class

Stayed 8 nights in September. The location is excellent — easy to get around Istanbul from here. The staff were genuinely nice and helpful, and the cleaning staff were lovely; the hotel and room were very clean throughout. Breakfast was nice, though I expected a bit more variety. Overall a comfortable stay, and I'd happily come back.

Everything else was fine - a decent breakfast, polite staff, and clean rooms.

Everything was ok except for the room. On Booking, the economy room description states that it comes with a view, implying there is a window with a view. In reality, not only was there no view, but there wasn't even a window! The size of the room wasn't an issue - economy rooms are generally much smaller and we were fine with that. However, not having a window and not knowing what the weather is like outside when you wake up for 3 days is unacceptable. No daylight, no fresh air. The "view" was just a wall decorated with flowers. It’s absurd, especially for a 5-star hotel! We asked to be moved to a room with a real window instead of a fake one, but we were told they could only accommodate us for 1 night in a different room, for which we would have to pay extra - despite the fact that we were misled. Yes, you can see the "window" in the photos when booking, but no one would assume that zero daylight enters the room. Even a ship cabin has a proper window! The hotel does not have a parking lot.
