lovely place to stay and explore Valley of the Temples. nice pool with view to the ancient site. Staff were very helpful and accommodation great. also good to have parking and a gym.

we just couldn't justify the expense of dining experiences within resort, but maybe that's just us...

An extraordinary experience at Villa Athena Resort. Staying at this beautiful hotel is a true privilege, especially because it has its own private entrance to the Valley of the Temples. Being able to visit the archaeological site directly from the hotel is something truly special, and the views are simply breathtaking. We could even see the Temple of Concordia from our bathroom window! The hotel itself is beautiful and perfectly located, making it an unforgettable place to stay while visiting Agrigento. We also highly recommend experiencing dinner at **La Terrazza degli Dei**. The setting is spectacular, the food was excellent, and dining with such incredible views made the evening truly memorable. The service was also outstanding, with the entire staff being friendly, attentive and professional throughout our stay. A truly exceptional experience that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Valley of the Temples. A stay at Villa Athena is definitely worth it!

I liked the location and proximity to the valley of the temples.

The interiors and exteriors are dated. I’ve stayed in the property some years ago and I could tell not much changed. You could tell the property was once a luxury hotspot and you can certainly tell by the attitude of the staff. Unfortunately the place failed to keep up with the times and is left with deluded staff and service that’s sub par.
