Bern Hotel

We stayed at Bern Otel Istanbul for 10 days, and overall, we had a good experience. The best thing about the hotel is its excellent location, with easy access to public transportation and many parts of Istanbul. The hotel is simple, but the price is reasonable and matches the level of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned daily, with regular changes of bed sheets, pillow covers, and towels. Hot and cold water were always available, and drinking water, coffee, and tea were provided free of charge at all times. The hotel also has a large indoor garden where breakfast is served. The breakfast was good, but after staying for 10 days, we would have appreciated more variety in the menu. Special thanks to Dr. Viola for her kindness, professionalism, and constant willingness to help. She made us feel very welcome. Many thanks also to Mr. Yahya and Mr. Asmar for their friendly and helpful service.

A few things could be improved: the room safe was not working and needed batteries, the mini-fridge had a problem, and the Wi-Fi was sometimes weak or disconnected.

Sometimes there was no butter for breakfast.

Location

The overall atmosphere of the hotel is bleak (dark)! The breakfast is very basic, food is mostly cold, no attendant, no proper bread! rooms are too narrow!
