Large parking place, outstanding breakfasts, nice external swimming pool, well equipped gym, very friendly staff, beautiful garden. I had lovely three nights stay with my family in this hotel. It was good location for short excursions to Garda lake or Verona. Afternoons on external swimming pool were so relaxing. In addition there are many nice restaurants nearby.

Nothing

A wonderful stay — even if the mornings started a little earlier than planned There are hotels you simply stay in, and there are places that leave you with a feeling. Villa Quaranta was definitely the latter. We loved the beautiful grounds, the park and the pond, the spacious and comfortable rooms, and especially the restaurant. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The outdoor pool and the gym deserve a special mention — truly superb. And, of course, being surrounded by the wines of the Tommasi family gives the whole place a character of its own.

There were, however, a couple of imperfections. Our room was located right at the beginning of a corridor where renovation work was taking place in the neighbouring wing. Every morning at exactly 8:00, drilling and hammering announced the beginning of a new day rather more efficiently than any alarm clock. We mentioned it at reception, where the staff were very kind and apologetic and assured us that they would take care of it. When we returned to our room, we found a bottle of Tommasi wine waiting for us together with a personal note of apology signed by Barbara Tommasi. It was a genuinely thoughtful and elegant gesture, and we appreciated it very much. The next morning, however, the drilling began again. At exactly 8:00. Apparently, some things in life are stronger than good intentions. :) We were also disappointed to discover that the indoor pool was closed. We learned that it is routinely closed for maintenance every summer from 27 July until 14 August. It would have been useful to know this before booking.

Dirty room! Location of kids bed is idiotic, placed the bed just by the air conditioner, near the head. Water pipes not clean, impossible to take a shower normally and use the bathroom. Let enter people from outside and sometimes problematic guests who do not align to hotel rules and disturb the guests.
