Great location, fantastic 5 star hotel and amazing service from the whole team. Rooms are spotlessly clean would highly recommend booking the suites with the Jacuzzi’s, the rooms with balconies have stunning views looking at the Tuscan Hills. A big thanks to Angelica and Nomitha who arranged a fabulous stay for our special occasion trip with friends.

AC is very weak Linens and towels especially have an overwhelming vinegar smell, that was very strong Pool is closing way too early. Breakfast selection is the same every morning.

Disappointing Experience – Not a Five-Star Stay We booked a Standard/Deluxe room at this five-star hotel for three nights, expecting and looking forward to the level of comfort and service associated with a five-star establishment. Unfortunately, our experience fell well short of those expectations. The hotel itself is contemporary, attractive and well maintained, but our room was extremely cramped, with virtually no space for our luggage. We specifically booked an extra-large bed, yet the bed provided felt like a standard double. The bathroom was equally cramped, with very little room to move and nowhere practical to hang wet towels after showering. More disappointing was the level of service and attention to detail. Our booking indicated that bathrobes and slippers would be provided, yet there were no bathrobes in the room and we had to request them. There was also no complimentary drinking water. We found ourselves having to argue simply to obtain water for the room, which is something we would never expect at a hotel positioning itself as five-star. Also bath towels are old and has seen better days. Again, one expect fluffy towels at a 5 star hotel. Housekeeping was also inconsistent and rather sloppy. On our final day, one of our coffee cups had been removed and was simply not replaced. These may seem like small details, but it is precisely attention to these details that distinguishes a five-star hotel from a four-star establishment. We have been fortunate to stay in many five-star hotels around the world, so we are familiar with the level of accommodation, service and attention to detail that this classification normally represents. Sadly, we did not experience that here. Perhaps the Standard/Deluxe rooms are treated as the "stepchildren" of the hotel, because throughout our stay we felt undervalued as guests. Regardless of the room category booked, guests paying five-star rates should receive five-star service.
