Hotel Langenwaldsee

Our stay was gorgeous.We choose this hotel to celebrate our 1-th wedding anniversary and it was absolutely amazing.Our room was upgraded and the size of our room was perfect (living+bedroom) all clean and comfy,with 2 TVs,a Queen size bed,couch,a lot of place for luggage,a nice bathroom with extra toilet and a big balcony.We had some organic tea,apples and crystal water in the room (room was a bit cold).The view was superb to the lake with some swan's and the forest with fresh air(the only disturbing fact is the street behind the lake but luckily it was quiet).The Wellness area was clean and not busy,there is a pool(water was a bit cold as well)two lounge areas,finnish sauna,infrared sauna,salt room etc...it offers organic tea,lemon and orange waters,apples...the only thing what was disturbing where some french guests,they where loud,luckily only at the pool...but then in the lounge area some young girls (they where just wellness guest,not overnight guest) where extremely loud,so loud that together with other guest we had to switch the lounge area...I could see that those girls had no idea what wellness etiquette is...Bathrobes and extra towels where placed complementary in our room.There are no slippers,because of some green policy,which I found good.I have seen some really used table clothes,but this happens when they are washed and ironed daily.Breakfast was fresh,plenty,delicious and a lot of organic products,as well with a nice view to the lake and forest.Dinner was excellent,organic-regional and delicious.The taste was really amazing...like an explosion of flavours.Staff was friendly and helpful.At reception we received a card which allowed us to use regional public transport,which was great.The hotel is pet friendly which I found positive. All in one I do recommend this hotel to everyone who likes wild food,nice lake view and fresh forest air.We had a great anniversary thanks to this hotel and the splendid area.

Nothing for the price

We were looking for a place in nature to relax for a weekend and we are happy we chose this hotel. The staff has been especially friendly and they were always in a good mood, which made us feel very welcomed. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and we loved that most ingredients were from local vendors. We also really appreciated that we could rent E-bikes for free which made exploring the forest a real joy. Parking was easy as the parking space is pretty spacious.

The location of this beautiful hotel, deep within the Black Forest and next to a peaceful lake is really breathtaking. The rooms - ours with a balcony overlooking the lake were really clean and well equipped. The restaurant serves excellent quality, traditional black forest cuisine. The spa, sauna and swimming pool add that extra attraction to staying in this exceptional hotel

The spa, at times was quite crowded and so not so convenient. Hard to find any other negative points..

Hotel is next to the main road at a beautiful location. You can start walks into the Schwarzwald or to the nearby town of Freudenstadt directly from the hotel. In general a relaxed atmosphere, the restaurant is very decent.

There are rooms in the new and old part of the hotel, we stayed in a road-side room in the old part. Room was very dated and did not have a balcony (some rooms at the lake-side of the hotel do). We payed €260/night which is in my opinion overpriced for the room we had. The beds were awful. Wifi is terrible everywhere in the hotel. In general the staff is very friendly but the front-desk employees were loud and lacking the hospitality you would expect from a hotel like this.

What a charming hotel! It's a classic black forest style hotel with comfortable beds, large rooms with a view, and you can tell the property beautifully maintained with love and care. The staff were very hospitable and friendly, and we experienced great service at every meal. The food was also beyond our expectations, with class Black Forest dishes that were homemade and so tasty. The cakes were also amazing. I loved that we had a view of the forest and/or the lake for both breakfast and dinner. I can't comment on the spa and wellness facilities because we didn't use them, but they looked very nice. There are also walking paths that go through the forest nearby, so we could walk everyday and enjoy the quiet and beautiful nature. Freudenstadt is also an easy 20-25 min walk.

I wish there was a larger bar area and lounge or living room with a fireplace and a view where you can spend time in the afternoons or late mornings to read a book, have a beer or coffee, and maybe chat with other guests. This was the only thing I was missing.

Spa area smells very heavy like faces! Disgusting! The pool seems on images large, but in reality it is very small and cannot accommodate the customers.

Everything was great, no complaints! But if dogs were allowed in the restaurant for dinner, the visit would have been perfect. ;o)

Great location just outside Freudenstadt, in a beautiful setting, on a small lake surrounded by forest. Very nicely appointed, clean, comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff. The hotel went out of their way to make arrangements so we could take our dog with us to breakfast. The restaurant is very good, specialising in locally sourced ingredients and regional dishes with a difference. We would book here again.

Un hôtel calme ,propre,personnel sympathique La demi pension est excellente

La piscine aurait pu être un peu plus chaude 2eme fois à l hôtel et toujours aucune chaîne française à la TV(sauf tv5 monde) Pouvez vous faire un pt effort svp surtout qu après le souper il n y a plus rien à faire à l hôtel

Es hat alles gepasst, sehr freundliches Personal! Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet, alles da und wenn man etwas benötigt, hilft das Personal weiter. Besonders schön war der Blick auf den verschneiten See, nachts auch beleuchtet. Fantastisches Frühstück und auch imRestaurant isst man hervorragend. Auch dort, sehr aufmerksames, gut gelauntes, freundliches Personal. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön.

Einzig im Schwimmbad war unangenehmer Geruch.

Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der traumhaft schöne (am Abend sehr romantische) Blick auf den See. Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, dass sich auf dem See ein Schwanenpärchen und einige Enten sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Das Zuschauen tat schon gut für Körper und Seele. Auch der Wellnessbereich ist super - auch mit direktem Blick auf den See. Wunderschöne Hotel-Zimmer (besonders die Junior-Suiten) und gute Betten. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

l'hôtel est situé au calme, le dîner était appétissant, et le petit déjeuner très fourni.

Pas de chausson pour se rendre à l'espace spa, sauna et piscine

Sauber, sehr freundliche Personal, super Lage

Emplacement au top mais c’est vrai que la literie et la couette nous a un peu freiné. Couette individuel et coussin très dur.. sinon la chambre était spacieuse et propre malgré quelques toiles araignées

Il s'agit de mon second séjour, et comme la première fois, tout était parfait. Le personnel est au petit soin, malgré ma non maitrise de l'allemand. La chambre est confortable, joliment décorée et dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires. Le petit-déjeuner, gouter et repas sont très bon et généreux. Le spa de l'hôtel est intimiste et très agréable, avec une superbe vue sur l'étang et la forêt. L'emplacement, isolé mais au plus proche des chemins de randonnée, d'un arrêt de bus et à proximité de Freudenstadt (30 min de marche dans la forêt) est idéal pour un séjour reposant. Je reviendrais sans hésitation, c'est un endroit parfait pour déconnecter avec un rapport qualité prix imbattable, où l'on se sent bien et bien accueilli.

Alles perfekt

Cadre très joli avec des sentiers à proximité directe. Personnel très sympathique et efficace. Espace spa très bien. Bons repas en demi pension et petit déjeûner qualitatif. Vue magnifique depuis le balcon. Chambre spacieuse avec beaucoup de rangements.

Salle de bain très basique et très datée pas en rapport avec le prix. Manque un bar. Pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre.

Die Lage ist wunderbar, der See war sehr idyllisch. Das Frühstücksangebot ist vielfältig.

Das Personal, besonders der Herr an der Rezeption, war unfreundlich und kurzangebunden. Es stank im Erdgeschoss immer nach Rauch. Im Poolbereich hatte es für uns etwas zu wenig Liegen und es fehlte an Flair. Für was sie bietet ist die Unterkunft auch eher teuer.
