Outdated hotel with poor quality/cost ratio

The location front of the lake.

The hotel clearly need a full refurbishment, probably very good in the 90's/2000's but totally outdated and the small paint work and new furnitures in the bedroom don't hide the old tiny bathrooms and the overall old impression given by all the common space. The shower area in the spa is covered by mold on the ceiling in every corner and the jacuzzi need to be turned on every few minutes. Water temperature was cold in the pool and barely acceptable in the jacuzzi. The restaurant was not serving a la carte and only an overpriced buffet option was available. The breakfast was really poor in diversity and quality and there were waiting times to be seated.

Nice hotel by the lake

Nice location, just by the lake and easy access from the train station. The surrounding forest is amazing for a stroll. The hotel itself is charming, the lobby and dinning area are beautifully preserved. The staff were outstanding, super friendly and helpful. The pool area was also a good plus, specially in case the weather outside is not so good. The breakfast and dinner were very good as well.

The bed was not comfortable for me, the mattress was very soft, and the pillows were not the best.

Great if you like quiet, wouldn't recommend if you like to go out for drinks etc. often.

The view was nice over the lake. The wifi was great everywhere, on the entire premises, even sufficient on the balcony of the room. The pool was never busy, always nice. The staff was amazing. Even the ones who barely spoke English, made an effort to try so when they noticed my German was horrible. The food was good quality. The beds were amazing.

In terms of location, for this town, it was good, at the edge of the lake. But for things to do for younger generations, not much around. Only a handful of restaurants, even less terraces for drinks. Although the food quality was great, the prices were high and the portions were small.

Fantastic stay

Hotel: The reason for our visit was for my wife's birthday and this hotel and location looked perfect for us to celebrate together. Upon arrival at the hotel where greeted very nice by the reception staff, they were really warmly welcoming and helpful with all our questions....Great service...🤗 The hotel itself is very nice, clean and has some great features, and is very picturesque against the lakes backdrop. Currently, some of the rooms are being renovated, which will for sure improve the hotel in the future. Room: We were located on the first floor room no1. The room size was plenty, and the view overlooking the lake with also our own balcony was awesome 👌 the beds were very comfortable, and the room was very well presented and supper clean. Amenities: There is also a very nice restaurant within the hotel. Note if you would like a table book in advance and ask for a lakeside table view 😉 The indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were superb...Also overlooking the lake... This was a plus plus for us...Also located on the first floor and very close to our room 🏊‍♀️👍 Parking: There is parking at the hotel, note, not so many spaces, however there is also parking directly outside the hotel and it was supper cheap, again not so many spaces. Location: Simply perfect 👍 right overlooking the lake, supper centrally located to the local restaurant 2 min walk and only 5min walk into the town which has a very nice park, shops, restaurants and bars. Tips: Book a lake view room definitely worth the extra few euros. Value for money: Excellent considering it location, amenities and very friendly staff. Would I recommend: Definitely yes Would I go again: We have already booked another stay in August 👍This time we have booked two lake view rooms as we plan to surprise my mother and farther 🤫 Thank you for a wonderful stay. See you again soon 🤗

Downstairs has been beautifully refreshed. It is probably time to refresh the rooms. But this did not detract from our enjoyment.

Fantastic town, great resort, superb staff!!!!!

Front desk staff was Fantastic-accommodated every request including need to pay our bill early so as to depart early next morning. Yannik in bar/restaurant was fantastic in dinner service. Meals were absolutely incredible. The Pan Fisch entree was incredible

Definitely the view. The staff at the restaurant were exceptional!

The room we were assigned to was a long walk from the elevator, plus another few staircases below before we were able to reach our room. This was very inconvenient especially if you had a luggage bag with you. The receptionists were probably not the most accommodating ones. If you say something in English, they respond in German. This happened while checking-in and checking-out. The wifi definitely does not work. At least we hoped the receptionist could have explained to us how and what, but she was probably too tired to. I even had to call to ask when the dinner and breakfast would be when it should have been automatically informed on our check-in. The attitude of receptionist should be really checked. The bathroom needs some extensive cleaning.

Very nice, quite, relaxing - wonderful place to go for a hike around the lake.

Great view of lake and spectacular sunset. The dining room is also very nice with open glass front of windows.

Due to Corona, the pool/spa area was closed. That was not clear upon booking the hotel and we were a bit disappointed, although it is understandable.

Great location and good basis to explore the area

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, great location and overall quite a lovely place for a little holiday, especially when you want to explore the wider area from here. Reasonably priced.

The property is a little dated and could use an upgrade. Even the room keys have these massive unwieldy attachments. It's also not quite as clean as other properties I've been at, spiders in many corners or remnants of squished mosquitos. Not that great.

Nice stay in a nice hotel, just what we wanted

Nice staff, you could choose many good things for your breakfast, the room was spacy and clean, location was quiet, and you make nice strolls in the evening.

The bathroom was a little bit old-fashioned although it was very clean.
