This spacious private home is conveniently situated in downtown Telluride, but its tree-filled surroundings leave you feeling like you've escaped to a magical forest of peace and solitude. River Bliss is a four-level private home that is tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, and there's plenty of space for up to 12 guests to enjoy a luxurious stay. It offers six bedrooms and 5.5 baths across a full 4,500 square feet of immaculate living space.
The LIVING ROOM is just right for group gatherings with a large leather sofa, two armchairs, and a bench seat all warmed by a lovely fireplace and a wet bar waiting for the bartender in the group to get creative.
A few steps away, you'll discover the incredible GOURMET KITCHEN with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances and everything you could need to prepare wonderful meals that you may enjoy at the breakfast bar, at the dining room table or at the outdoor tables found out on the heated patios that boast wonderful views.
The PRIMARY SUITE is perfectly situated on the very top level of the home, and you'll be able to step right out on the patio where you may enjoy fabulous views of Ajax Peak from the comfy lounge furnishings or the large hot tub. A gas fireplace adorns the bedroom along with a plush king-size bed and flat-screen television. The private bath boasts a jetted tub, a large steam shower, and dual sinks.
The SECONDARY SUITE is found on the entry-level of the home, and it also features a king-size bed warmed by a gas fireplace, flat-screen television, and an en-suite bath with a jetted tub, a steam shower and two sinks. Those who want to be near the living room and kitchen may choose the QUEEN SUITE with a private bath that offers a tub/shower combo. The last three sleeping suites are found on the home's lowest level, and these include a CAPTAIN'S BUNK ROOM with a bunk bed that offers a full-size bed on the bottom and a twin-size bed on the top. This room shares a bath with a tub/shower combo with another QUEEN SUITE. The final QUEEN SUITE is found just off of the theater room and the extra kitchen, and it is served by a bath with a shower just down the hall.
The Ah Haa School for the Arts is just a short walk from River Bliss, and it offers a wonderful assortment of classes and activities for all ages. Guests of this home will also be near dining at the popular There, Siam, The Cosmopolitan, and 221 South Oak restaurants as well as a short walk to the gondola that will take you over to Mountain Village where you'll discover the very best ski runs for all skill levels.

This was not an ideal stay for my family. First and most importantly the house is not air conditioned, which was not disclosed in the listing. I would not have booked knowing that temps in July can be hotTwo bedrooms had insufficient wall units so it’s obvious A/C is neededThere is a nice basement projection TV but no TV in the main gathering room so other tv watching has to be in bedrooms House is large and would be good for multiple adults/teens during ski season. However, the advertised peace and tranquility of summer were unavailable due to the large A/C unit in the commercial building next door which drowned out quiet conversation. As long as doors and windows were closed we had peace inside but it was uncomfortably warm. Opening windows at night brought in the conversations of people using the stream side walkway to go to restaurants and barsThe check in was awkward. I was called days before and told that 3-4 was fine for arrival. Day of I get a text asking if I’m still coming at 3. We get there at 3:30 and I get text saying house hasn’t been approved by housekeeping and check in is 4. 15 min later I get the code for the key and someone is on the way to show us around. No one ever comes We call on Sun with a couple of general questions and find out the 24/7 concierge service is emergency only We still enjoyed our stay but the house was disappointing. We managed to squeeze 2 cars into the side parking but our 2 night visitor had to pay to park in a parking deck

We were visiting to ski and the location couldn’t have been better. Short 3 minute walk to the gondola and about a 5 minute walk to everywhere else in town. Awesome house with plenty of space and amenities. I couldn’t recommend it higher.

A comfortable and well located house great for a group of friends or multiple families. If you stay with friends, I'd recommend prorating the bedrooms.
