Nice hotel, clean and with decent amenities

It's a sweet hotel in a nice location - quiet and serene. The local town is very limited for food options of an evening and not wildly friendly, except the Heimat Cafe which were super lovely. The Bistro-4-Witz was great too, we ate there on Sunday when the hotel Resturant was closed. Bed was comfy, as was sofa, and the bath in the room is GIANT. The honesty bar was a fantastic touch, and had most everything you could need, at reasonable prices.

Perfect location for nature lovers with good food and trully good quality rooms and service

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms, and excellent breakfast options, both vegetarian and not, sweet and savory, local products. The location's highlight is it's tranquility and proximity to nature, making it a great spot for relaxation and outdoor activities like hikes, walks in vineyards, and forest exploration. 13 min walk to the center of the city where multiple bars and restaurants are, as well as shops. The room an hotel feels like it was renovated yesterday, with everything working perfectly and looking new. The wifi was fast and reliable. The elevator is spacious and works smoothly. There is a vending machine with local and international juices, beer, wine, water, snacks and sweets. The restaurant was perfect, nice ambiance, no loud, dimmed lights, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had 5 dishes and 2 deserts and they were all prepared to perfection. Wide selection of local and international wines and cocktails and drinks. Both food and drinks had good prices, not cheap but not too expensive either, and the view of the restaurant is calming and taking all he stress way.

We had a wonderful family weekend away. We are grateful for the warm welcome we received. I was deeply impressed by the kindness and hospitality of all the staff, and we all really enjoyed our stay.

Nice getaway in nature

We had a wonderful stay here for 3 nights. Our room was comfortable. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious with lots of variety. We had dinner one night at the restaurant as well (reservation recommended) and the food was really good. The location is great, we were able to go on a hike through the forest directly from the hotel on foot. We also appreciated having a charging spot available for our electric car.

4* Does not say enough about this amazing place

Second time staying here in last couple of years and because the first was so memorable we had to return. So pleased we did as it was exactly how we remembered it. The whole place is so meticulously kept, you would think it was only built last week. Service is exceptional and the food coming out of the restaurant would put many high end establishments to shame. We had the pleasure of chatting with the owner over dinner before she went on a short break of her own, a real highlight of the stay as she is such a down to earth lady who has nothing but time for her guests. Unfortunately this time around we missed Sebastian who is a delight to meet but we will return again that's for sure and hopefully see him again. PS I did return Sebastian's cork screw to receptionz and the Spätlese was outstanding. 😆

Great stay in a lovely spacious room. All staff we had contact with were very friendly and helpful.

We had dinner in the restaurant which was absolutely fantastic and the service was equally good. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and everything was fresh and nicely presented.

We would have stayed a second night but unfortunately for us the Hotel was fully booked.

Short but wonderful stay

Fantastic location with excellent facilities for the family, the restaurant in the evening was wonderful, superb food and portion sizes. The care the owner took for the kids was excellent. The bedroom easily fitted two adults and two kids, and had everything we needed. Wonderful stay.

Excellent and impecable hotel

We stayed one night in this hotel while traveling to visit the mine in Idar-Oberstein. But the actual gem was this hotel. The hotel is absolutely spotless, very cozy with beautiful and personal furtniture, functional and environmentally friendly. Great breakfast with healthy options, attention to detail and attentive staff.

It was a pitty that the reastaurant was not open being august the holiday season.

Fascinating concept

Fascinating concept. One can see that they put a lot of effort and thought into it. The room was big and clean, and the restaurant was exceptional. My wife and kids especially enjoyed the breakfast quality and offering. When we left, our daughter lost her favorite plush cat. We called the hotel the next day, and they managed to find it, and they were kind enough to send it to us by post. Highly appreciated!

Excelent service, comfortable and very clean.

Got there at 21.55, friendly welkome at reception and precise given instructions/explanations. Very clean hotel, room, very comfy beds, 24/7 autoservice for drinks and snaks downstairs and the most delicious breakfast. I believe the surroundings are nice too, pitty we only got there during night and left too early. Deffinitely a place to go again for a longer duration.

Brilliant. The staff were welcoming, lovely and helpful. The beds were super soft and the breakfast was great. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious.

Nothing to recommend it

Called a '2nd Home', it is nothing of the sort. It is being extended and refurbed and it is hard and stark. Apart from our last breakfast, the staff were unfriendly and lacked empathy.

Great restaurant, room was nice too. It was quit & easy and free parking in front of the hotel. At the moment it looks like they are doing some renovation / extension works but that was not a big problem. Stuff was friendly. Breakfast was great and the dinner in their own restaurant very good. Free coffee machine in the room. Possibility to store your bike in a closed garage and/or to charge an E-bike. Fair price

It's maybe a bit of the center of Morbach but it's very quit.

We were very positively surprised about this hotel and enjoyed our short stay

We had a very nice and well equipped room, the breakfast was very good and the food at the restaurant was excellent. The hotel is located outside of Morbach in a quite valley.

The hotel is expanding and a new building is under construction, which is not so nice to look at while it’s not ready and the backyard/garden/terrace is not in good condition
