Swiss hospitality at its best

Impeccably clean, thought had gone into the small details such as the fact that none of the doors anywhere slammed. Great breakfast and a good quality 24hr drinks machine in the lobby with “proper” coffee, hot chocolate, tea etc. Lovely, friendly staff. Correct and faultless.

A few other guests dragging chairs along the wooden floors which resonated through the floors. Bit inconsiderate but no fault of the hotel at all. Restaurant was a little slow in delivering courses on fixed menu and I eventually gave up waiting for cheese and desert because it took so long. But kind of a minor detail overall. The main course of spaetzli with chanterelles (photo) was wonderful😋

Top quality, value-for-money Swiss hotel experience.

Everything about this hotel was top notch: check-in, room (bedding, pillows, towels), service and restaurant (dinner and breakfast). Can’t believe it is only a 3 star hotel.

Fantastic hotel near Basel

Fantastic hotel. Very well appointed in every way, with a great breakfast. Staff were amazing. I saw that it also caters to business meetings and I can see that this would work very well.

Good Breakfast. All quite costly but then Switzerland is. excellent level of cleanliness and comfort.

no grass for our dogs, but along the road was special place for them. Clearly the surroundings are about to be built on.

this property was extremely clean and comfortable. the staff were very friendly and helpful. on arrival the man at the reception also gave us a free upgrade to a comfort room which was lovely. the breakfast and restaurant down stairs were both wonderful.

Value for money.

It was a good place to stay driving from Italy to Belgium. You can feel it's a family hotel so staff is nice and the quality of breakfast is high.

The beds and airconditioning were two things that were not exactly what we had hoped for. But I would stay again, because all other things were very nice.

the room was very nice and newly renovated

we were upgraded , but room was facing the main road where traffic never stopped. It was extremely noisy day and night, plus church bells chiming every 15 minutes, needless to say we had a sleepless night.

Perfect stopover travelling through Switzerland

Convenient location, just off the motorway south of Basel. Very clean with good service. An excellent restaurant with friendly staff.

Apart from the fact that the lift didn't service all the floors which meant carrying heavy luggage up and down stairs there was nothing we didn't like.

A very pleasant surprise - would happily come back again.

Exceptionally high standard for a 3 star hotel. Large comfortable room, excellent facilities, first class breakfast, free parking. Switzerland is unfortunately not cheap so this is a relatively expensive hotel in a slightly out-of-the-way location, but in all other respects is highly recommended

The motion-activated light in the bathroom is annoying (especially at night).
