Hotel Döllnsee-Schorfheide

Sehr schöne Lage mitten im Wald. Direkt am See. Genau richtig zum Entspannen. Gutes Frühstück ohne Hektik trotz vieler Gäste. Sauna und Schwimmbad im Haus bzw. Sauna direkt am See.

Badewanne im Zimmer ist nicht so toll. Eine Dusche wäre besser. Das SPA war leider wegen Bauarbeiten geschlossen.

Unglaublich freundliches Personal, wunderschöne Umgebung, wahnsinnig gutes Essen.

The breakfast was great and the view over the lake was fabulous. The surrounding country side was beautiful and very calm. I could imagine this being a great destination in the summer.

The economy room I booked was in a sad little side wing, completely separate from the main hotel structure. I don’t remember this being clear when I booked the room. The room was nice enough but the beds were really uncomfortable and there was just one sad, cheap, thin duvet on the bed. The sauna by the pool was not hot and the boats and paddle boards weren’t available to rent during my stay. Oh and the history of the place is really unsettling (I’ll let you do your own research) it’s hard to find charming, well decorated hotels in Germany, so I thought I struck gold, but with all the disappointments that kept rolling in, I would say it’s definitely not worth the price.
