Close proximity to the tram, out of main city, clean and had everything needed

Cost for parking...was €15 per day, on top of hotel fee....I think it should be included for guests for free, or at least reduced

Great spot to base your stay in Cologne

Bar was lovely, breakfast great too. All staff really friendly and very helpful. They kindly arranged breakfast bags this morning as we left at 6.50am, they were great. Close to tram stop, 3 minute walk. Supermarkets across the road which were amazing. It’s not central but from a cost perspective it was perfect as we needed a family room. Staying in the centre would’ve cost more than double.

Our room smelt of smoke despite being a ‘non smoking room’ . Definitely needed an upgrade & paint. Coffee machine in room would be a welcome addition.

Nice, comfortable hotel, with a pool, small fitness room and sauna. Good for a stopover during a road trip (not far from the highway). Shops near the hotel. Cologne city not far from the hotel.

It's like a graveyard

The locations was close to the stadium, but that's about it.

Stayed 2 nights instead of 3. Left 1 night early and moved to new accommodation, at our own cost. Naked man in the Sauna. Bar closed @ 11pm on a Saturday night. A reception staff member rudely asked us to refrain from talking as he couldn't hear himself check in others. At that point, local residents confronted him and apologised to us on his behalf. Avoid!!

The great place to stay with family

The faculty is quite complete. They have swimming pool, gyms etc. The breakfast is also great with plenty choices.

Our room was in front of the elevator, so it’s should quite noisy sometimes. I would suggest to enhance the isolation of that room.

The hotel is great value for the money, and the pool and good breakfast were absolutely worth it.

Hotel was very clean, staff were friendly, pool and breakfast were great. Main complaint is that the bed was quite hard. We had a family room, with the pull out couch (which had a topper on it) and the couch was more comfortable than the bed was. The pillows were also super flat and gave no support.

The only good thing was that there were grocery stores nearby so we could buy something of a higher quality to eat. The food in the hotel is not ok

The food in the hotel is mostly fried. There is supposedly a spa, but the sauna was almost non-functional. We used it twice in 5 days, and the water in the pool was cold.

Overall, everything was fine. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The swimming pool was great.

The bathroom was small, which isn't fitting for a 4-star hotel. Additionally, there were no towels available for the swimming pool.

Super hotel one more time (3 consecutive year)

The hotel was really good. Really nice rooms and beds. The breakfast was superb, plenty of choices and they never run out of anything. The staff was always courteous and really helpful, they make you feel that you are in a high standard hotel. I used the swimming pool and sauna and they are really well maintained and clean and a joy to use. They are not massive but it is perfect for recreational use.

Nothing to do with the hotel but at the moment we were there, the tram line 7 that is the main and useful connection to the city center was with repairs. That made our commuting to the center of Cologne a bit less comfortable and we ended up using a lot freenow and taxis (including an unpleasant experience with a local taxi driver that wanted to scam the tourist...). So, few advice for fellow travelers: - Don't be discouraged for the distance from the hotel to the city center, with the tram you are in no time and comfortable in the city center (the stop is just 5 mins walk from the hotel). - Always check the transport pages to be up to date with works, etcetera... - Don't trust local taxi drivers. Always use an app with a closed prices for your trip. Really disappointed with that.

Perfect.

The bed was wonderful. The rooms were adequate. Exactly what I expected. The hotel had a parking space which I could use for free. There are possibilities to do some shopping in the area. Cologne city center is only a tram ride away and a station is just a walk away. Saves you all the hassles of finding a parking space in the city center.

Good

The room was spacious, bright and clean. The bed was on the harder side but still comfortable enough. There was instant coffee and tea and a kettle provided in the room.

It was difficult to turn on the air-conditioning at the right settings, even though we set the temperature at 17 degrees, the room stayed very warm and the air was dry during the night. Also, the water in the shower did not properly flush away after an average time of showering.

Price of breakfast is a bit too expensive. Sheets are not very breathing and caused overheating and sweating. Shower in a bath tub is tricky and causes sliding and falling.

Definitely not worth the money.

Cleanliness was good, though there was a chemical smell in the bathroom - old I guess. Staff was professional, though some of them not very warm and client-oriented. The beds were comfortable but not the pillows. Unfortunately I cannot think of anything else good.

Terrible pillows. We had to ask for another, and still were uncomfy. The electrical sockets are not all next to bed - only one. So not practical. Paying €10 for the parking/per nigh was the senseless abuse. I find €21 for breakfast also exaggerating - I understand they want to compensate for the losses during Covid, but this is not fair. Definitely not a nice memory to look forward to going back to this so-called hotel. If you just need a place to sleep desperately, go ahead and book it. Otherwise, better pay a higher price elsewhere but at least with less abusive policies. No excuses accepted. They are merely superficial. Thanks.
