I was rebooked in another hotel which was about 30min away from our conference venue, so for me it was extremely inconvenient, I had to take alwas an uber car etc.

in my new hotel, the saclay novotel, the staff was extremely nice but the room was a catrastrophe, the heating was broken, so it got really cold during the night an no additional blanket, on the next morning the very nice concierce gave ma additional heater

-Carpet in my bedroom needs a really deep hoover and clean. It was very dirty -The duvet is rather thin -Aircon/heat unit is difficult to figure out - gave up in the end. Some intructions might be good -Nice meal in the restuarant, but rather abrupt staff - it was like us being there to eat was an inconvenience to them -The £80 deposit is actually charged to my card, then breakfast seems to be deducted. It makes expenses process for my work confusing. I udnerstand if you need to take the details of my card, but actually charging it is not necessary.

Proximity to beautiful National Golf Course, whose facilities are far superior to the hotel

You can't put ANYTHING on the room. Failed three times from restaurant...first day had to drag myself down 10 pm to pay, instead of settling it during breakfast. FYI I paid 600 eur for room and some food, then we ordered something additional for 25 eur(!) and they forced me to come down to pay that same night (after driving 10h to Paris).. staff are not rude, just apathic to the clients.. they have stupid processes and if the staff were not just staff, but shareholders they would change them.. but they obviously are just salary clippers to the detriment of the hotel and clients... Also air conditioner needs to be turned off as doesn't work and was very stuffy in room

Unfriendly staff who don’t smile at all. poor breakfast- designed fo people who like fried pork. I went for breakfast at 9 am with family and my 4 year old autistic son. as soon as m son clapped his jeans and have been a little loud, the waiter came to us and said please be quite we have another guest here who are relaxing. So please stay away from this hotel if you have an autistic child, they staff will complain
