Hôtel Barrière Le Gray d'Albion

The hotel is close to all places, restaurants, and the train station, and it is clean.

The hotel needs to change the furniture and carpets. Some rooms have been renovated, and I asked the staff for the renovated room, but I didn't get it. Instead, I received a room upgrade, but it didn't feel like the room I was upgraded to was the same one I had booked.

Como a maioria dos hotéis europeus, deveriam trocar quando possível o carpete por pisos laváveis tipo madeira em pvc, pisos frios.

The hotel made a striking impression upon our arrival with a truly warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location is superb—right in the heart of Cannes—and the dining area offered a wonderful variety of options with exceptionally pleasant service.

Despite the positive experience, we encountered a deeply unsettling incident that we’ve never experienced in any other hotel. The day before our check-out, we discovered a cross drawn on the bathroom mirror, which we assume was done by a member of the housekeeping staff. This felt highly inappropriate and left us shocked. At check-out, we inquired about the mirror cleaning procedures and room access policies, but left without clarity as to what had happened or why. In addition, we noticed that some small personal items had gone missing, which we only realized after our departure from the hotel. Though minor, it raised concerns about staff reliability and security.
