Great staff. Hotel a bit 'old' in parts but comfy bed and clean. The restaurant and pool are the best features. It is a bit out of town, but we did find a local bus which was very reliable and was only a 15-minute walk away. Perpignan has a nice feel about it plenty to see in a few days stay and some good restaurants and a good bus and train service to the local beaches. Lovely Moroccan buffet restaurant next door to the hotel and a great boulangerie. It does seem like a hotel for travellers/tourists going to and from Spain, but we liked the quiet of the place and the soft music ad: the staff have limited if ay English, but e got by with translate. Jenny, on reception, does speak very good English. The weird setup of having to pay in reception for drinks and food is odd unless you add it to your room.
The staff haven't a clue about how to make cocktails even though they have a menu card. The wine in the bar is not good, we bought ours in the restaurant. But we did enjoy this slightly eccentric hotel and would stay there again.
