Amazing place. The owners did a beautiful job over the years to create stunning rooms and buildings. Our room and bathroom were huge and decorated beautifully with wonderful views.

The beautiful Manor House and the very peaceful location. It was a typical beautifully renovated Manor House.

Plumper pillows. The stairs were a bit hazardous especially when carrying very heavy suitcases up them.

Perfect hotel, beautiful room, stunning location

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It's hard to believe how little this cost for what where you get to stay. Eric was extremely welcoming. Breakfast was utterly delicious with the biggest Croissants I've ever seen! The room was huge, clean, fantastic view, peaceful and just perfect.

A beautiful French Manoir

A beautiful, peaceful, elegant restored manor to stay. The beautifully maintained garden was a delight to walk around and sit in. Breakfast was lovely with boiled eggs and local produce including honey and camembert. Eric was a very good host and looked after us well. Will definitely return.

Excellent hosts and spotlessly clean property.

Excellent hosts bedroom was spotless and totally in tune to the property and the breakfast was excellent with a very good selection of items and coffee tea and juice. We loved it and are hoping to stay again perhaps with friends or family.

Lovely property in a relaxing location

It is a lovely property in a quiet location, but not far from Valognes or Cherbourg. Breakfast was plentiful and good.

A lightweight blanket for summertime would have been appreciated. The duvet was too warm for the temperature. Gluten-free bread would have been welcome.

To the Manor Born!

The setting of this French Manor house was sublime, tucked away down a lane about 2 miles out of Valognes.Surtounded by mature gardens and a lake, where Agapanthus and Echium thrive, we could walk all around the property. Arnaud the owner is happy to explain the history of the house. Bedrooms are beautifully designed, There is an honesty bar, and breakfast is excellent. A perfect one night stop for ferry at Cherbourg, but really guests should stay longer to appreciate the peace there.

Not a problem for us but less mobile might find the stone circular steps up to the bedroom .a problem.Ask for first floor if possible.

Warm welcome to an incredible house with plenty of character.

Host, room and breakfast were fantastic. Delicious pastries, cake, cheeses, breads and more. Good coffee too. Next time we will definitely stay longer so we can see more of the huge gardens.

Our room had a juliette balcony which had a very low railing. Unfortunately not very safe for the children so we had to keep the window closed at night in case they went wondering in the dark.

A very relaxing time amid quiet and wonderful natural surroundings.

Breakfast was superb, fresh eggs, bread, coissants and a wide range of extras. The surrounding garden was outstanding, beautifully kept with some mature and very attractive specimen plants and trees; one can truly relax at the Manoir. Our room was spacious and had everything one could wish for, the lack of a television being a particular bonus for us! The proximity to Valognes is an additional advantage for easy shopping and restaurants.

An old Manor House, well renovated, and a good place for a stopover or longer.

The property was very quiet,the facilities were most adequate and the host was very welcoming . Although the property was down a small country lane it was very easy to find if using sat nav or the written instructions. Bed was very confortable and everything was very clean. Ideal place to stop for one or more nights and get to know the interesting area.

Nothing except having to stop only one night and perhaps climbing stone stairs, but what do you expect in a genuine old Manor House.

Great stay, great manoir, great value!

What a fantastic manoir! When entering the long gravel driveway through the entrance gate, you immediately notice the authentic beauty of the manoir. It is large, stately, and wonderfully maintained. The rooms are huge and stylishly decorated. The entire manor is well maintained, very clean, and definitely worth its money. Delicious breakfast, the choice is not too wide, but more than enough. All in all a lovely stay.

it is quite remote, and is located well away from the highlights of the peninsula. If you like peace and quiet, that's perfect, if you're looking for a little more excitement, then this location is less suitable.

Der Aufenthalt war angenehm und entspannend.

Wir haben ein Upgrade und damit ein sehr schönes, großes, antik eingerichtetes Zimmer bekommen. Ein bisschen haben wir uns wie in einem Schloss gefühlt. Der parkähnliche Garten war sehr schön. Das Haus liegt etwas außerhalb, es ist dort aber dafür auch sehr ruhig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Manoir idéal pour faire une parenthèse dans le quotidien et parfait pour découvrir la Manche.

Très beau manoir niché au coeur d'un parc où il fait bon flâner. Le propriétaire est très accueillant, disponible. La chambre est spacieuse, le décor soigné. Le petit déjeuner est un véritable brunch, les produits sont locaux et de qualité.

Peut-être installer le micro-ondes dans la salle du petit déjeuner ?

Un posto che sembra uscito da una favola! un soggiorno unico, in una struttura antica ma che è stata modernizzata nelle camere per togliere quel senso di "vecchio" mantenendo comunque fedeltà all arredamento originario. Un dispiacere restare solo una notte il parco attorno liberamente utilizzabile anch'esso un plus e nonostante sia un po' nel nulla connessione wifi rapidissima Silenzio Posteggio in loco

La colazione inizia alle 8:30, personalmente avrei preferito iniziasse alle 8:00, non abbiamo però chiesto se c'era possibilità di anticiparla.

Lieu magnifique, très bien entretenu et chargé d’histoire. Nous avons adoré l’accueil et la gentillesse du propriétaire des lieux. Chambre spacieuse et propre, beaucoup de prises ce qui est très pratique. Petit déjeuner varié et très bon. Une mention spéciale pour la richesse et la variété des plantes dans le parc et le jardin :-)
